New website controls needed?

Based on the amount of spam we seem to be getting in the last few days either an IP address needs to be banned or we need to come up with another way to keep idiots off the site.

I guess I should say idiots that spam the site....vs the regular idiots that we usually get :)

Hey Justin,

We're definitely aware of the problem and we've got some talks going on at the moment about how we can address these problems without too much impact on legitimate customers - it's Monday morning, just after 9am, so there may have been an irregularly large amount that sneaked in over the weekend, but we're on it, don't worry :)

Thanks for your suggestions - glad to see that some of our regulars have been so vigilant in sending abuse reports... it really shows that you guys all care about this community.
