So, am I right to understand that the fader on the 56 and 57 will NEVER BLEED because they are magnetic?
Does that make those mixers better FADERWISE than the EMPATH?
How does the 909 compete FADERWISE...I don't care about effects.

Unless you screwed up the magnetical sensors or hit on the fader so hard that they moved their position...
I guess so, the Empath has P&G faders, which are good but still wear out.

Scroll down the page about 1/3 of the way and check the testing of the magnetic fader if you haven't seen it already here: www.rane.com

Jonny, you should look out for the coke video, where they pour coke into a Rane magnetical fader and it still works!

Wow, that's RIGHT, I've seen that Coke "submerge" test and the sewing machine thingy....
Ok, so there's no bleed...and that automatically makes it a keeper...
Hmmmm....decisions...decisions...

TTM57 Mr. M, as the split cue situation is something I believe can be changed in firmware (no hardware changes) IIRC.
I can guarantee that if you stop by and play with mine (my TTM57SL you pervs), all your reservations will be gone...You might not even make it to tax return time. I think I'm buying new 12's M5G's (and a new bedroom set for the eldest daughter) w/ my return.
