Rane Upfaders Hamster Curve Issue?

Rane Upfaders Hamster Curve Issue?

Ok i know this is weird, but i love to scratch with the upfaders in hamster mode. I find its much easier with my wrist in that position cuz im kinda just pulling the fader down.

I went to my boys house to mess around with his ttm54. The upfaders do have a hamster switch which is nice but there is not a real curve control just a little switch where i could select the cut in time.

There was not a way to make the cut in time really sharp as you can with the xfader.

Are all rane mixers like this one or do the newer models have a full curve control for the upfaders. I am planning to get me a rane mixer (prob a 56) and if the line faders are like this i cant do it.

i love my 56. the curve on the upfaders is adjustable.

I don't like the cut on bottom of the upfaders. I kind of wish they were like the DJM-707 in where the cut is on top when set to the sharpest curve. Well, I just have to adapt and overcome.
Any of you use the other modes on the 56? I really can't find a need for them.
