I think the song is around 120-125 bpm i heard it on the radio today n they mixed it with some songs around there

Uno Seis is right, it's C&C Music Factory - Robi Rob's Boriqua Anthem. There's two versions, the house version that you're talking about and the reggaeton remix. They both came out around the same time which is 1995-1996.

My favorite is the Vinello Remix. You can get a radio version of that Vinello remix on iTunes. However, the song is spelled MAGALENHA.... Look it up and you can find it. ;)

The iTunes version is..

louis i got instrumental, dub, and acapella! what a boricua anthem acapella? you got it and when i drop it on top of pitbull shake instrumental,get some chicken,lettuce and ceasar dressin cuz its a wrap!

You guys made me dig deep in the crates, I had removed the CD from my collection already!:

I found the original "Magalenha", it was released on the sountrack for the movie "Dance With Me" around 1998. Insane percussion going on in there, ma' God!!!

I also dusted off my vinyl and CD copy of Robby Rob's Boriqua Anthem... No instrumental version is available.

Another track by C+C music that is great and almost easy to confuse with the Boriqua Anthem is "Mi gente latina". Its shorter and has a start to the track that will jump-start any party.

All of this should be available on iTunes or on used CD's in the internet.
