OK, it was slipping anyway, but its official now: I have lost all respect for the X-Ecutioners. I just picked up the new issue of Scratch magazine and they have DJ Boogie Blind review FS2 vs SSL vs Vinyl. (p.95 Mar/Apr 2005)

"Who can I call to get one of these---now! It's incredibe (sic). It feels like I'm cutting actual records. The sound is great. I love my vinyl, but this might change the way I do parties."

Unfortunately he is referring to FS2. While the article doesn't actually state any lies, it seems to tell a lot of half-truths.

I've never used FS1/2, but it seems like they are skipping quite a few steps; like all the wasted correspondance with tech support. They act like you just plug it in and it works which is opposite of what every former FS user on this board (and the number is growing, from version 1 & 2) seems to say.

I have owned Serato Scratch Live since July 2004, and haven't regretted a single day since (regardless of what some X-men wants to tell me).

not a thing...

it was written like alot of novice dj's are talking bout FS and lets help the sales out... and get free stuff. but I wonder... if he was talking bout SSL since in the qoute he never mentioned which system he was talking bout.

NI and Stanton probably paid him to say that. Wonder if he'll say the same thing when he starts to get problems with FS.

Anybody who decides to purchase hardware manufactured by Stanton over Rane is obviously insane anyhow. They get what they deserve!
