Xone DX Mic Setup

DJ Jon Brown 3:42 PM - 2 May, 2010
I just got the new Xone DX and it's amazing! The only thing I'm having an issue with is getting my mic to work.

I'm using a Sennheiser Wireless. Plugged XLR from the front of the DX to XLR on my wireless receiver. I've tried everything from pushing the mic button in and out on the 7-8 channel input on the back to using the volume and 4th channel controls. ANy ideas?

Thanks!

i must say im also confused about the whole thing....

iv managed to get it to work on channel 4 by pressing the mic button on the back and then shift+cue on ch4... but what i dont understand is how to get it to work without going through channel 4... if thats not possible then why is there volume and eqs next to the mic input????

in all honesty i havent looked at the manual about this so not sure if im just being an idiot...lol

Hey Mobildj,

Sending you mad love! That's exactly what I was missing. Works great...this unit is sick!

Now I'm noticing the mic sound quality is very poor. Any ideas? How should I set the volume and gain levels on the 4th channel?

Thanks,

Same problem with the sound quality of the mic here... Better results when running through a mixer first, and then through the line input.
