When I DJ everywhere I get control signals that look normal like this i41.photobucket.com but when I or anyone else for that matter use the TTM57 with the cdj's it is taking up the whole scope and looks like this i41.photobucket.com and I'm not sure why.

Same thing last night when I played. I just ordered the sixty eight so hopefully that will not have the same issues.

It's an issue with your needles... the size of the circle depends on the output of the cartridges you use.. get something like q-bert concord's and it will be bigger...

so what you are saying is that a $2,500 mixer won't fix his issue.....lol

My guess is that you have the cdjs set to phono? It relates to the signal being processed, so maybe you might have missed that.

That's what I first thought too but if I change to phono it makes the signal square off and go outside the scope.

Hmm maybe try messing around with your threshold. Sorry I'm not completely sure what exactly could be the problem I'm just seeing if these answers could relate and help others in the future.

its the signal stregnth. with needles you have several things that come in to play with your scopes. dirty needles, the weight, the needle its self...
With cd's you eliminate all of that and in simple terms, get the perfect scope. I worried myself once because i went from vinyl to cd's and i didnt see the scopes. the reason was because i had magnified the scopes to make them larger.. I shrank them and had perfect circles.

Tried to move the phono sensitivity but it won't let me change it. The scope is set to 1x which is the lowest setting. I'm not sure why the signal is so high on this mixers input. I don't have this problem at any other club.

the 1x is the magnification of the scope... it doesnt change anything other than how big the circles appear

That is true too, but the 1x 2x etc magnify it. if you use cd's and do 3x you prob wouldnt even see the scopes
