Z,X,C,V,B,N triggers the samples 1-6

if "playback uses shift" is checked in the setup you will have to hold the shift key or turn caps lock on. if it's not checked then all you have to do is hit those keys



you can output the sampler to ch1 or ch2 or master.....i recommend master so no matter what ch is playing, the sample will play

You are talking about the SP-6 sample player. If you click the SP-6 tab above where your crates and playlists are you can access it. Just drag and drop sample / stings / songs onto one of the 6 sample banks. If the 'playback uses shift' button in the setup is not checked you can just press Z, X, C, V, B and N respectively to trigger the loaded samples. You can play all the samples even when two records are playing. Like Dj MacMillz said just make sure the output channel is set to master so they will play over both channels :)

but if the output channel is set to master and his fader is open for both decks, his sample sound will be too loud.
watch out for that.

i often switch from output R to L cause i use the sampler while both decks are in the mix.

u dont get that problem with the SL3, u can run your sampler to a seperate channel on your mixer with the AUX output on the SL3...

WORD!! but i think there are no more shortcuts assignable...

^^57SL and a korg nano pad makes things easier^

you can set the output level of the sp6 now......so that won't/shouldn't be an issue of loud output going through Master
