Rane TTM 57SL + SL1

I've got a question!!

Is it possible to connect a SL1-box to the Rane TTM 57SL and play with 2 laptops (switching) without reconnecting the phono-cables ?

Thanks in advance ...

i used to run two sl1s with one set of decks and two laptops, my guess for setup would be... connect the tables to the inputs of the sl1 first and the thrus to the inputs of the 57. line 1 and 2 from the sl1 to the toggled inputs on the 57. i used to run thrus to inputs of second box and that ran flawless for me for years. seeing as how the signal passes thru the sl1 and into the 57 i believe it would work the same way... BELIEVE it would

finally having to try this with an sl1 and 57 heres how it worked. i having a 57 and having to set up and open with a friend of mine who would not be there till later but using sl1. because the sl1 is powered by usb i puchased the otional power supply because thrus dont work unless theres power to the box. so inputs to sl1 and thru 1 and 2 to the inputs of the 57 as well as line 1 and 2 to the inputs of the 57. the thrus act as the input signal for the 57 and whatever laptop is hooked up to the 57 would use two digital channels then when using the computer hooked up to the sl1 just toggle the input for each channel. hope this makes sense

It works, I do this at a weekly gig I have with my DJ partner. The only thing I can't seem to understand or get to work right is when I got to setup and check the control signal, instead of it showing up in a circle its a square (The laptop connected to the 57) but it seems to work just find. The Laptop connected to the SL1 the control signal shows up as circles. I don't have any sound problems but don't get why it shows up as a square.

No nothing like that, I understand the circle and any problem, but I'm not having any problem at all. Everything works, both mixer setup and sl1 setup. We switch off and on all night and no problems. What I was saying is if I go to SetUp window and look at my signal while connected to the 57SL I don't have circles but a square, but the SetUp window connected to the SL1 you see the circles. Noted that everything is still working correctly. So lets say both laptop are connected and we go to the setup window in serato to check out the control signal, the one connected to the 57SL mixer is a square and the one connected to the SL1 is a circle. Don't know why it does that but don't seem to have any problem with it.
