Here's something for you all to enjoy on your way to work after a nice vacation, hopefully. haha. This is a pretty mainstream mix meant to appeal to a wide variety of people. Please give me some feedback!

There are also downloads of some tracks I've remixed and used in the mix including Smack That & Sexy Love as well as some new ones:

question...

so when i save this, its a zip file. how do i play it so its continuous rather then having to click on each individual track?

lol, that's right action!! To listen as a continuous mix unzip and I would suggest to import into iTunes using version 7 with the gapless playback. I set it up so it should work fine that way. let me knnow if u have problems though.

Jay im always feelin your remixes, but not really the Montell Jordan one. Personally I dont think the lyrics work with the Ying Yang/ E-40 beats, but it sounds REALLL good with the oldschool tracks thrown in at the chorus

of course, that planet rock remix is effing SICK! i downloaded that individually and will probably use it a lot....i'm def feeling that "hands up" blend, the beat complements the lyrics very well......

Mike, I love that beat too. I'm going to use it in the future, just didn't fit right on this mix I don't think. As far as gear, you can find what I use for mobile gigs in the set-up pics thread -

For production I use an iMac G5, Serato to get ideas and play the mix, Ableton and Fantom-X keyboard to do my remixes and beats. I usually use Technics 1200's but did that mix with CDJ1000's. I used the 1000's because the clubs around here mostly use those, so I needed to reaquaint myself with them and see how well they worked with Serato, which they did pretty well. I might get some pics up soon of my studio setup if I have time.

i just downloaded it and it wouldnt didnt go to itunes like when i download from diggiwax i just press open and it automatically goes to itunes and plays any helpfull ideas. when i clicked open a page came up with all the files seperate not in itunes just another page opened and when i tried to play them nada. ??????
