Just picked up Airport Express to stream music from my macbook to my stereo system... however in an idea word I'd like to stream directly into one of my KRK monitors (not splitting the signal between two for space reasons).

Will only be streaming music to have on in the background (not production or DJing with)... any ideas on the best way to cable this for the best sound?

Will there be much difference using a Mono 1/4 Jack vs a Stereo 1/4 jack, bearing in mind I just want to send the signal to one powered speaker?
