i hook the hard drive up and it just freeze up and wont load my music up

You have very little information which makes it hard with troubleshooting your problem. Try providing some more detail on what kinds of hard drive (External or Internal), size, and what exactly are you doing.

Hi dynamite32,

What does Scratch Live say it is doing when it freezes (e.g. loading a particular crate)? This is displayed at the bottom of the main screen when the external hard drive is connected.
