about 1500 ppl were waiting in one of the clubs here.. including me, waiting for snoop dog. promoter that i knew came on stage said, "sorry to everyone,snood dog will not be playing tonight as he caught a cold" me + everyone.. WAT THE FUCK, FUCK THAT SHIT. everyone left, and a few fights broke out

DJ Enuff from Hot 97 was suppossed to play at the college and I was supposed to supply sound. Nobody really knew what he looked like, and they had charged DOUBLE at the doorl...

So I simply IMPERSONATED HIM, with the lights down low!

Its pretty fucked when the night of the show hits and the artists pulls a no-show. in some situations it seems to be the promoters fault (like I wonder if they knew the artist wasnt going to make it, but still wanted to promote the event with them.

Other times, i feel bad for the promoters.

T-Pain was definitely promoters' fault from the rumor mill I heard. don't know all (most) of what happened but it sounds like people promoted it knowing he wasn't showing up.

a promter for a concert once put DJ AM's name on the flyer and then the day before the show announced that AM wasnt coming but the promter had never even spoken to AM"s people he used the name to sell tickets.

I forgot who it was, but some promoter put a big name act's name on a flyer, never contacted them, the artist found out, and sent his goons there to "collect" the money ANYWAY for "false advertising", and got paid.

The Wu almost no showed in Pittsburgh a couple of years ago....

They were supposed to go on around 9:30. By 11:30 there were still no signs of them. This emcee chick kept stalling on stage. She kept re-assuring everyone that the Wu was on their way. No one was buying it. The crowd got real restless and started booing. A few bottles got tossed on stage as well.

A few minutes later the lights went out and you could hear Raekwon on the mic advising the crowd to "Be cool".

Even though they were late as hell, they did put on a helluva show. I didnt think they were gonna show up though.
