I think thats what their called, does anyone know any stores that sell these, my new spot dosent have a booth capable of being set up in so im having to set up a table next to it to mix off of, its a stage area but im not really sure how professional that looks though, i was thinkin if the table was covered it may look better, i know you can buy online but i was trying to think of a store i could pop into to pick one up
Also what are your opinions of using a regular table as a stage setup? Is this acceptable? (managment dosent care but i wanna have it as clean as possible)

I use a skirt from a Draper fast-fold screen.

I put velcro on my roadcases and my set-up goes from sketchy to classy! A banner or something works also. A table is fine, but you should def have a skirt or something in front so people don't see you scratching ur nutz

or just go to target and buy a cheap black sheet and drape that over the table....I've done this in the past...

Do what you gotta do. Glad you're taking the effort to cover those wires... I got my DJ table skirt off of Ebay. It's like the ones on DJskirt.com

i ended up using some banquet tablecloth they had from the restraunt downstairs to wrap around the table, it made a great skirt (no rupaul) but the main issue i had were with wires i couldnt cover and the techs wires not being long enough to cover easily....im going to pick up some extensions today

I use a banner with my logo/website on the front of mine when I can.

I think banners are tacky....well, for weddings at least. People pay you to play not advertise...

I saw a DJ with a digital marquee at his DJ booth. It was very eye catching and advertised his business and tel#.

I had one of those. I took one of the programmable ones you can get at Pep Boys and changed the power supply. It only cost $35.00

I prefer a black shower curtain to a sheet... It never get wrinkled or needs ironed .
