I am working with another dj company that rents out so much stuff, but here are the common things i see and not so common:

Game Play rentals, anything from hula hoops to FAMILY Feud
Lounge Furniture
Custom Gobo's
Uplighting
Projector and screen rentals
Making the slide show

A lot more of the "wedding' djs in my market also package video/photography for one (ahem) low price....

I try to stick to the things I know and do well and bring in the experts for this other stuff...but it still helps me to book gigs if I can offer other services...

I think we are sharing information here. Most of the wedding djs in my market don't do clubs like I do, so I think most wouldn't be trolling ssl boards looking for the next idea...

I do both weddings and clubs. For weddings, I start with a "base" package for just a basic sound system. Then, I up sell lighting and video (music videos, slideshows, gobos). I also charge based on number of guests since I have to add more speakers & subs as the number of attendees goes up. Almost every wedding that I've done, I have been able to get them to buy video and lighting packages.

I hear Sixxx offers free bridal deflowering with his wedding "package"...
