I use a serato box and Scratch Live 1.7.2 when dj'ing. Macbook with Mac OS X 10.4.8

Benn spinning at some venues that have the Rane 57 and it's great cause I don't have to set up my box. But I can't seem to get the Rane 58 controls to work like the scroll knobs and the effects.

Do I need to set the controls a certain way and if so how. Or do I need to update from 1.7.2 ?

Any advice would be appreciated.

You should update to 1.9.2: serato.com There are a few firmwares available for the 57sl as well :)

Yes, I recommend updating to the new version.

After you have, go into the set-up / hardware tab.

Next to the USB Audio BUffer you will see a prompt for you to update your firmwear. Click that and then you should be good. Download link below -
