HTC HD2

djbriguy 12:44 AM 17 March 2010
This phone is pretty exciting... however it is pre-loaded with Windows Mobile 6.5... But it has the fastest processor of any smart phone, comes with a 16GB memory card, and is pre-loaded with both Transformer movies (to name a few things).

I'm going to a an invite only HTC event on monday for t-mobile employees, and i'm supposed to be getting a free HD2. Has anyone else seen the phone or plan on trying it out?

finally a phone that you know won't be slow on you... I downgraded to a EnV touch from my former PDA phone,,, i've had a pda phone since they started making them, and my peeve was that the more info you put on them, the more they would delay loading different things.

Nice man, it sucks it not Windows7 mobile tho....you can stream Netflix with 7! Also no Keyboard, but if you dont need one then not a big deal.

Nexus One has a 1Ghz Snapdragon processor as well.

It does come with an exclusive app from Blockbuster, where you can rent/buy movies and they're delivered straight to your HD2. I haven't tried this yet, but I plan to once I get the phone on monday.

my guy at tmobile said the phone is sick!!! but it's also garbage.. battery life is worse then the htc touch pro and they charge for ALL the apps... I'll be buying the nexus and giving my girl the mytouch.

Also, I charge my phone at night just like any other phone. I make it through an entire day at work, and you wanna know what I do all day? I show my HD2 to customers, CONSTANTLY!
Turn Table Tennis 5:07 AM 27 March 2010

I have a mytouch and I love Android. I've also got an iPhone 3G my brother didn't want anymore. I hear windows is supposed to be doing some big things, but if they drop the ball on 7 i'll probably wind up hacking it with android.
Turn Table Tennis 11:31 PM 15 July 2010
^^^ That was for this post

looked at this phone yesterday, it was pretty sweet but looks like theres a nice learning curve to it, not as intuitive as some of the others
Turn Table Tennis 10:28 PM 16 July 2010
using it now and its amazing.
djbriguy 2:42 AM 20 July 2010
Just switched to the Samsung Vibrant with Android :)... however, the HD2 and I had a good relationship... it really is an amazing phone and i'll miss some of the features, but I like to have more choices for apps.

speaking of apps for you HD2 users....

So far I'm really diggin the phone. Lots of cool features and with so many backdoors windows leaves open I've really been able to take full advantage of this beast. Next is going to be dual booting windows and android 2.2 with sense.

SteveDUH 10:28 AM 22 July 2010
Google Nexus One also rocks the snapdragon processor.
It's the only phone in the world right now that can run flash...
and it's not windows mobile.
