HD WAS UNPLUGGED IMPROPERLY AND NOW MY CRATES START AND STOP LOADING AND SL WONT START/FREEZES UP AND I HAVE TO INPROPERLY EJECT SL IN ORDER FOR IT TO TURN OFF. WHAT CAN I DO TO GET MY FILES BACK. YES HD IS ALMOST FULL. PLEASE HELP. DO I NEED ANOTHER EXTERNAL HD (MY BOOK FIREWIRE).

Try this:

Close SSL

Open your external HD

Rename the _ScratchLIVE_ folder to OLD_ScratchLIVE_

Rename the _ScratchLIVE_backup folder by removing the work backup so the folder reads _ScratchLIVE_

Restart SSL

Any luck?

How much drive space do you have remaining on your internal and external drive?
