Just upgraded to an SL-3, also would like to run video in the future as well as expecting the upgrade to Serato 2.0. My laptop runs @ 1.67 GHz with 2GB of RAM. It seems like the computer is being pushed to the limit already & I would like to get a new laptop. I love Apple but would like to save a little money if I can. What are the best speeds/memory to run Serato & video? Also, which has less problems with the software, Mac or PC? Is there a reliable PC out there??

Stay away from all PC computers for use with Scratch LIVE and especially Video-SL.

Go with a MacBook or MacBook Pro.

I suggest at least an Intel Core2 Duo 2gHZ processor with 2GB of RAM. Snow Leopard or Leopard recommended :)
