In the past when I analyzed a folder of music in my library and stopped it before it was done it would pick up where it left off when I restarted it. Also if I tried to analyze a folder that had been done it would tell me all files have been done. Now it acts like it is not holding any memory of files being analyzed and it will just start fresh every time I drag a file over to be analyzed and when I stop and restart it starts all over like it had never been done before. What can I do to fix this issue?

Hello IA,
It sounds like your databaseV2 file got bunked up.
1. Completely shut down SSL.
2. Open your Macintosh HD drive.
3. Click on your 'Music' folder (you might need to click on the house icon to see your music folder).
4. Open the 'ScratchLIVE' folder.
5. Rename the 'databaseV2' file to something other than its original name. I usually rename it 'corruptdatabaseV2'.
If your using an external drive open the _ScratchLIVE_ folder on your external and rename the databaseV2 file in there as well.
6. Re-open SSL.
If done correctly you will see your tags getting re-written at the bottom of the page.
Note: Rebuilding the databaseV2 file will revert all of the 'date added' dates to today's date and will delete any files out of SSL that aren't currently in a crate or playlist.
Let us know if your still having issues;)

I followed these steps and it did re-write my tags so I know it worked, but when I analyze any files and stop them, it still starts all over when I start them again like it didn't remember anything from the first time?

If you rescan your id3 tags, let it finish scanning, and then click 'analyze files' does it start analyzing all of your files again?

It only starts over now every time I analyze a crate. If I choose to analyze all it will tell me all files have been analyzed, but it will analyze a crate over and over.

This is normal. You can re-analyze a file or group of files over and over again if your dragging the files directly onto the 'analyze files' tab.
If its telling you that all your files have been analyzed after you've rescanned the tags and then clicked 'analyze files' then all of your files have been analyzed.
If its telling you that all your files have been analyzed after you've rescanned the tags and then clicked 'analyze files' then all of your files have been analyzed.
