Hi All im new hear and im looking for someone to help me before i throw myself and my computer through a window!

My Problem:

after about 30 mins of use of serato every now and again the waveform seems to disappear and the whole computer seems to have slowed down to a crawl, if at that point I do ANYTHING with the Computer the Audio skips! its HIGHLY embarrassing and it seems to be happening more and more often it only started happening in the last few months.

Now... I have checked there is NOTHING else running I have disabled EVERYTHING that doesn't need to be running including my wifi and all running programs! please also remember that this has all ran fine for 6months previous so I know the system ran fine has anyone had anything similar??? or anyone got any ideas??? Cheers in advance

My Setup:

Rane Scratch Live SL1
Denon SL3500's
Pioneer DJM800
Laptop: Samsung 710
Windows 64Bit
Intel Core2 Duo P8600 @ 2.40Ghz
4GB Ram

Setup -> USB Buffer Size is set to how much?
PulseFM 9:57 PM 13 March 2010
USB Buffer 0
Screen updates 60
Audio Cache 15

These settings have never changed and always used to work at this :)

Cheers

Highly unlikely it's lack of pc....you've got more than enough for sure! Did you do a recent update? I have a top notch setup but cant seem to make 1.9.2 work for me no matter what. (using 1.9.1)

Wanna try USB Buffer 5?

Try raisng the USB buffer to 10.

Are you getting USB dropouts?

Do you use an external HD?

Have you tried all USB ports?
