Take most germans on this forum. instead of helping ppl who seek straight forward advice around serato, all they can do is maliciously blast the advice seeker out of the sky. So i observe this phenomenon for a few days and realize it´s the same lame dudes, hanging before their computers all day dissing folks. GETALIFE! If somebody wants to know how to digitally record a vinyl record with serato, just tell them or shut the f... up.

each forum section got its ups and downs. You will find great help in the German forum.
Some members just feel the urge to sarcasticaly comment on every question about a topic that is not 100% SL related.

On a side-note, Claudine Wong (not counting my wife) is the most incredible, most beautiful, most perfect woman on the planet. (google her or check KTVU.com where she is a news person). This is not to start a discussion on who is the most whatever.. it's just a statement of fact. You are welcome to discuss who is number 2 if you like.. ;-). Dude, seriously... You are an MC, you are one of the german hiphop pioneers - but you may never had the view from a DJ's perspective.

In that thread (in which you complained about "germans" in the german forum - the one Mojo has linked to) the topic starter is actually trying to be a microwave DJ. Now all what happened was that someone told the topic starter to do his homework, to school himself, to read, to research - and not to expect to be spoon-fed. And that's where you started to complain!

The MC game may have not changed a lot, but the DJ game has changed. Everyone is a DJ nowadays. Buy Scratch Live, copy a hardrive full of music - and there you have your new super star Pauly D. Haha.

Of course other DJ's will take offense by those shady wanna be DJ's. And that was what that person expressed and you pulled the "you germans"-card. In guarantee that you will see the same reaction from DJ's in any other subforum/language.

Also... the german SSL subforum does not have an offtopic area so the topics posted there have to be about SSL (not about generic DJ stuff). If someone starts to ask stupid noob DJ questions then people will complain. Just because it is a forum does not mean you can ask any question. You would not go to cooking forum and suddenly ask questions about the electricity of your car because an electric cooker uses electricity.

Pulling the "you germans"-card was unwarranted IMHO - unnecessary and not cool.
