For the video experts... ive recently switched from Vegas Video to Final Cut Pro and have followed A-Swifts tutorials (The KING!) on editing videos and I'm stuck on this one video.
If you download the 14sec sample of the video this is the mp4 version of the video after being edited.
IF you watch it there's this weird sort of 'ghost' type of effect that happens when there is relatively fast motion (ie when Jay-Z moves his hands around) and it creates this weird effect which is unnatural - almost like either the frames are stuttering or something - i cant get rid of this.
My process is:
Source: PAL DVD, 720x576, 25FPS
MacTheRipper to rip DVD
MPEGStreamClip to get m2v & aiff
I edit in FCP then send to Compressor using m2v video and my own audio.
Using Compressor i de-interlace, do some cropping, target fps is 25 and render to mp4.
After this - i get this 'ghost' type of effect (Thats what im calling it)...... any ideas as to whats causing this?
