connecting and disconnecting

---

anyone have a problem with hardware connecting fine 1 minute and a few seconds later disconnecting....only to reconnect again ...and disconnect ...etc...ect??

I would recommend going to C:/programfiles/serato/drivers and run the 32 bit driver install for the NS7, choose uninstall. Now reboot and use the latest 32 package from www.numark.com

I purchased a brandnew macbook yesterday
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.26ghz CPU
250gig
2gig ram
running snow leopard
installed latest compatiable driver for NS7.....

only to find the problem continues....hardware disconnected

Howdy do you have 2.0.2 installed? if your running Sl you will need that.

Reinstalled everything again tonight
then calabrated,did everything by the book
and still ''hardware disconnected''

Help !!

I had to hire on the weekend ..! no problem tho I was actually amazed with the poxy lil unit from the american dj system...! no issues what so ever ...ran like a dream...But then again why should I fork out extra bucks to hire when I have the NS7 sitting in the corner at home like a ferrari without wheels...I can only hope that numark would be able to make the product buyers like myself and everyone in this forum feel safe every time they pushed the on button of their numark dj gear...anyone ever done that before a gig? ....fingers crossed hope my numark gear stays reliable tonight?
I have never experienced a dj company that puts so much emphasis into marketing and creating....products..... that at the moment ''talks loud'' ....says nothing!!
I understand that there are many NS7 users that are not having problems at all ...that is a blessing to you all....BUT BEWARE....IT'S only a matter of time...

Hello, sorry for the delay. Have you contacted support directly there is a dedicated support line for the NS7 they can help you in real time. The forum is designed as supplement to phone care not a replacement.

In the device control panel does it show the device as "Connected". Did you try a replacement usb cable? You can find the device control panel in Applications.

15 days no call ,no email....nothing....

MY NS7 had a serial number within the range that numark itself ....stated should be recalled but when I spoke to them they said no yours should be ok....but I have issues,I even purchased a mac book 3 weeks ago ,same issues...they want me to send the ns7 into the repairer at my own shipping cost even though it is still in warranty and now they just dont want to know or help me....

What about NUMARK do a total recall on NS7's fix the issues that everyone is having ...and if your not having an issue ....you soon will ..!surely its not all computer based problems...

or maybe just refund everyone's hard earned ca$h...

I owned cdx's ...world wide problems with the laser /cd mechanism, numark offered me 2 more after warranty ran out @ $500 each thanx numark....

I then purchased 2 hdx's ,1 firmware update offered ....numark dropped this player like a hot cake not long after its release ...it is now obselete...shame on me ...shoulda learnt my lesson...thanx numark...

I now own an ns7 that's not 1 year old and not working...it stopped mid gig... ...I have spent 3 weeks talking with numark support about my problem....it's still on going and since I have had a lot of DJ downtime I have been looking at the pioneer decks ....funny thing is they seem to work and keep on working for several years....My mind boggles and when I keep buying numark gear ,I am comming to know my mind is playing tricks on me....what do I do ?

a)what for support to help me fix this problem whilst the warranty is slowly running out..but hangon they dont even respond anymore!

b) see my physcologist about why I keep buying numark gear?

c) go with the market standard ...pioneer

d) go back to using 1200's with serato

I like numark gear when it works so dont get me wrong...the trouble is at some stage your numark gear just isn't going to go the distance ....either mid gig or longlivitey...

AM I WRONG??

My cities #1 store for good reliable dj gear do not stock numark products...I now know why..

Unfortunately I have been unable to reach you on your number.
As you have stated you are not willing to contact us it is difficult to try to diagnose this on our end. Our phone and email support is our main area of support although we try to respond as soon as possible on the forums including weekends.

If the unit was within the affected range it would not turn on. So I do not feel this is the issue. I would recommend contacting your seller or distributor to get the unit in for analysis.

If you are able to provide another form of contact details or perhaps have an IM address we can try to remote analyze your system to see if the driver is causing a problem.
