Hey, just saw this video www.youtube.com view and thought would that be possible with scratchlive 2.0 to make the pads light up when an effect is turned on?

I saw this one as well www.youtube.com view and i asked the guy if he thinks its possible but he says scratchlive doesn't have 2-way midi communication yet

I would effing love a midi controller that lights up when active!!!!

I use an MPD24 (I go on about how much I love my MPD daily), I would love it if...

a) My MPD24 had pads that light up

b) Scratch Live sent midi back to the controller to make the pads light up when active (loops, cues, effects, SP6 playing).

Yes, would be much easier to control SSL with the LPD 8 if it lights up for activated effects or loop...

Would be a great bonus for final 2.0 ;)

I bought an LPD8 last week and its totally amazing. It really reduces the amount of time you need to be looking at your screen.

If 2 way midi was enabled this would mean i need to look at y screen even less.

I have PGm 1 set up to control the left TT and pgm 2 on the right, same mapping on keys and buttons on both:

Pads:
[1 loop] [2 Blank] [3 blank] [4 blank]
[5 roll loop] [6 fx 1] [7 fx 2] [8 fx 3]

Knobs:
[1 fx 1 asign] [ 2 fx 2 asign] [3 fx 3 asign] [4 blank]
[5 fx1 wet] [6 fx 2 wet] [7 fx 3 wet] [8 loop length]

Having the light up functionality to see what loops/fx are on would be mighty fine...

i still can't figure out how to make the pad light on.

the LPD8 needs another setting on the editor as of now it only has 2 button trigger modes Toggle and Momentary, i think it needs at 3rd mode so it can toggle like a on/off flick switch.
