Ns7 keeps shutting down!!!

When im in the middle of a session, after about 30 min, the Ns7 shuts off completely for about 5 seconds, then comes back on....completely stopping all music!! How do I even consider doing a gig with this problem!! I also have the slow to start/stop platter issues so many others are having!! I contacted Numark and was basically told it was whoever I purchased it froms problem!! So Im hoping the $1500 for this thing wasnt a waste!! I had better luck Dj ing directly off my pc thru VDJ!! OH, and had samples and effects without paying the extra $200 for the add on to use them!! Is anyone else having this prob???

I have had a similar situation, all of sudden my NS7 stop working, it disconnected and reconnected on its own, platters stop moving, songs started clipping real bad. I was using a MAC, never had a problem before, whats up with this Numark, we would like answers.

Itch 1.5, the Ns7 doesnt have any sample or effect keys on it at all unless you buy the add on nsfx which is another $200!! Unless theres something Im not aware of....but dont think so!!

Hello where was it purchased from and in what condition?

I purchased on Ebay, brand new!! Had to assemble, was still in the original packaging!! I understand that it is not under warranty and that it is not the ideal way to purchase....BUT...It says Numark on it so I just called to inquire if this problem had been reported by others and if there was a solution!! I wasnt looking for a new one!! Was told until I provided proof of purchase from authorized Dealer....No help was available!!

If you mean that the unit shuts down including all the lights, I think this unit may be from the small amount of units which where recalled for service. This happened about a year ago and all new units are now fine. Im not sure if the seller was aware of this.

If you mean that you are getting a drop out his sounds more of a software issue.

The date on the Bottom is July 2009! You think its from that batch?

Im very sorry to hear that. I would suggest you contact your seller to discuss their return/refund policy as the contract of sale is with them. This way you could get a repair or refund to buy a new unit. Unfortunately, there have been a couple of cases where ebay sellers have knowingly sold on a bad unit.
