One of the effects that i like in VSL is the false colour effect.

The problem is when i think to use it while the video is playing to the crowd is that i'll turn it on, then change the setting live to look for the colour scheme i like. This is the same with all the other effects - sometimes i'm turning the settings dial looking for the setting i like.

i think what would be cool is if you could preview the effect in the channel preview screen by splitting the screen in half. So by clicking the bypass button on would mean the effect would not be shown in the main output window. But when you select an effect 1/2 the preview screen would show what it would look like once you turn the bypass off. The other half of the screen shows what is being sent to the main video window.

i guess this suggestion is useful when like i said above you're already playing a track to the crowd but then you decide to turn on one of the effect. Instead of adjusting the setting live, you can click bypass, turn on the effect, then adjust the settings until you get what you want then click bypass off.
