Tampa's cool. From a job/economy/DJ perspective not so much. Other than that I say go for it. It's like a bigger Pensacola (those familiar with the FL panhandle)

What are some good spots to check out in that area? I haven't been to that many places across the bay.

I've always wanted to move to Miami. I've been there once, orlando, tampa/st. pete, and Vero Beach and I enjoyed my time there. Women in Florida were aggressive too. I'm glad I'm so sexy

from what ive heard tampas better than miami, apparently you got the same party\music atmosphere but you dont have to make 100 grand to afford a studio apartment......my fave part of bein in miami is going to burgerking...its awsome watching every person in line order in a different language and the person who works there who speaks none of those languages mess up there orders

I used to dj at alot of spots over there when I was in college back in 05-06. I go there about 3 times a year (my girl still has family there). Check out Suite... (suitepensacola.com) The owners are my boys, every time I visit, I rock a Sat or Friday night.
