VGA to RCA/S VIDEO Adapter...Even Apple could not answer this.

Here is a Video question for a tech or VDJ of the century if you know this..

I have a MBP/2008/ Black keys / Vid out put is Digital. I already have a PC to TV converter. Works great going directly to TV. HOWEVER, now the venue i Dj at has a CONVERTER to Booster to go on 7 plasmas. PC to TV now has poor qualtiy due to multiple converters. So now I am seeking into VGA to RCA/composite ADAPTER. It is available online at AMAZON.com.
The whole issue is to by pass the TV to PC converter.
The friday night DJ has thje old mac. Plugs in Analog out put to the converter running 7 plasmas and his works great,.
Any thoughts or anyone playing a gig like this ?
Will this work ?

what inputs does the booster have?

I looked at it and it was RCA/Composite. The venue is too cheap to run HD. It would cost over 2,000. So what I plug into is a Composite Female

im not an expert but from the little i know i dont think your going to get a good picture by boosting a composite signal onto several HD LCDs....the qualitys just not there and all the converting your doing isnt helping.....i could be wrong though

What pisses me off about MAC? the older version with the silver keys has a MINI/VGA to S video adapter. My friend has this and plays at my Venue too, his videos look good on all plasmas. Now here I am with a newer MBP with MINI/DISPLAY PORT to VGA which is digital. I have to buy this 40.00 PC to TV. really sucs.....Im hoping the VGA to S Video adapter will work

thats because the old mac wasnt an all digital output

That's your problem... buy a $200 scan converter and it will work fine. There is no "adapter" to do this, you need an active box

i thought you said the only input your club has was composite.....does it have an svideo input?

I found the adapter. (3rd party VGA to S Video) If it doesnt work then I will surely go buy the best converter ever MADE. haha..

Svdeo/Composite is the adapter I found, the club has composite

extron VSC-500 or kramer VP-501 are excellent choices

The serato support team told me the VGA to S video/Composite adapter should work and have much better quality than a converter, but it makes sense to possibly upgrade the scan box. I atleast have a couple of options now, thanks. Or go buy an OLD MBP....grrrrr..cant believe Apple did that.
