TTM 57 SL Drivers

DJ Apex 12:35 AM - 28 February, 2010
Hey everyone, is there a way to install drivers for the TTM 57 without it connected? I don't own one but I had to use one last night at a gig and my computer wouldn't recognize the hardware. I had to run a lame half-assed setup because I couldn't run Serato and I was planning on being able to. It seems like this should be a fairly common problem, but the only way I've found to install the drivers is letting SSL auto-install drivers with the 57 connected. Any help would be great, because I'm not close enough to anyone with a 57 to ask to borrow it, but I feel like I might encounter one again in the wild. Thanks

if your using the recent serato and are on a pc there should be a program under scratch live called update drivers. plug in the 57 the next time, turn it on, and use that program to install the proper drivers. i've used it many times. idk for apple though, may have similar program. if that doesn't work i do know you can find the driver manually to install it. when it ask you to install the driver select destination here C:\Program Files\Serato\Drivers ..select which operating software your using and it should install the driver

The issue is that I usually don't have a wireless signal at gigs, so I want to install the driver without the 57 connected. Where do you find the driver to manually install? I tried searching the Serato website but I couldn't find it.

AS far as I know and understand, the drivers for the TTM is built into the SSL folder named "Drivers". Next time you hook up the TTM it will as for it and you just have to install it. You dont need internet once you have the SSL drivers installed on your pc, but you will need the internet to download/update any FIRMWARE for the mixer. I believe I'm giving you correct info, because this is how it has worked for ME, an owner of the TTm57 as well.

dj rumors is correct, SSL has all the drivers within.

All you need to do is plug in the hardware to the usb, go to START: All Programs ~> Serato ~> Scratch Live ~> Update Drivers.

Also make sure that the mixer is turned on before updating the drivers. That should be it, you don't need to be connected to the internet.
