Ok, I'm starting to fall OUT of love with the NS7....fast!

I'm having almost non-stop problems and its really starting to piss me off, especially considering the 1700 entry price.

The biggest problem that's making me regret this purchase....tracks will NOT stay in sync for more then 2 bars!!!!! Even when the LED's that show when two tracks are in sync is white. I figured that was because ITCH hadn't analyzed my tracks correctly, so I tried using the tap function to get a more accurate BPM....still! the two tracks will NOT stay in sync for more then 2 bars....in fact, the tracks will start to drift almost immediately!
It looks like Platter 1 (left) is the one that is constantly drifting behind Platter 2...could there be something wrong with my platters? Or am I doing something wrong here?

Secondly, I am getting very irritating freezes in the software, where the sound will just stop and ITCH will struggle to get going again....its incredibly annoying and was something I thought I left behind when I left Torq. Is this because my computer is too slow? The only app I have open is ITCH though, but it still happens!

Does anybody know what is causing these problems? Did I get a lemon?!!!! Please help me out! I'm going nuts here!

Thanks guys

While the sync feature is a useful aid in beat matching, it shouldn't be totally relied upon to keep songs in sync. There are many different variables as to why songs don't stay in sync and most likely it's not the fault of the NS7. You should get used to using the pitch bend buttons or platter bending to keep songs in sync.

As for your second problem, it would be useful for you to post the specs of your computer.

Hello, to ensure you get the best helping hand from the software you should make sure you have analyzed all the tracks in 1.5 please note that Itch does not use beat grids this is a feature which will be added in the upcoming 2.0 update. Its a hands on program and requires users to tweak their mix. Like with turntables there will be a slight difference in speed because no motor is exactly the same.

As recommended please let us know your spec.

Kind Regards

How are you getting on?

When the white light is on it only means that both tracks have been synced to the same bpm, it doesnt do the beatmatching for you like Virtual Dj does....Its a little more hands on!!

Plus the white light just means it's close... NOT completely on the same BPM, but close!
