North Korea is basically China's little pawn. When ever China is pissed at America, the tell Kim Jong Il and the North Koreans to go fuck with South Korea a little bit, ex. military drills, missile testing etc etc.

So far only one country nuked another one.

very good point......but in that particular instance it probably saved alot of lives....of that bomb hadnt been dropped that war woulda kept going on and on, it was the threat of holy shit they can really fuck us up that not only stopped that war but probably prevented a few other major wars.....one of the reason the major powers stopped going to war so quick is the fact that it could escalate to that point

why is it that the bomb that was dropped is referred to as an atom bomb and not a nuclear bomb? technically both are correct, but these days it seems that it would have been called a nuclear bomb

Nobody can predict what would have happened. The bomb still had a big "impact" on the civilians.
I personally think the US are the worst country concering warfare BUT at the same time the ones most concerned about cruel warfare.
