Suddenly I'm reminded of an art project I did in high school.

At the time I was In Norfolk, VA and they wanted volunteers to make stuff related to black history.

I was once really good at drawing & painting, I thought I was going to be the next Picasso. I made a pencil drawing of this photo. www.nps.gov

I was super proud of it and it looked really good. It ended up being picked (1 of a few from my school) for a public display at a museum. All schools from the city I think took part.

Well a month or so later when it came time to return the art, they noticed mine was missing. Somebody stole my shit! So if you see it anywhere let me know.

drawing he Made me this crazy portrait of Che and castor looking off at
me sitting at a board in deep concentration and named it what the future holds

I didn't get the meaning but his drawing was dope I gave em his first DJ setup
Because I was so impressed with his work it's the best thing I ever got

wait......so this kids an outstanding artist....and your were impressed by his drawing ....so you got him a DJ setup...wouldnt it make more sence to get him an esile or some markers or something?

Well .. He wanted to DJ so I got em started his dad has em covered with the
art stuff he's a great poet too he's won awards for his poetry

Just an all around artist very talented kid extrodinary

But it's funny with all his talent and beutiful work he still is a victim of
peer pressure and is part of the gang life too ...

Seems like it. Im half black and white. It seems like nowadays there is nothing really special about black history month. They might show a couple documentaries about slavery or segregation on the history channel. Have nothin but black comedians on Comedy Central. And show a couple of black movies on TNT or TBS or some shit.

Thats all I notice from it. Jus seems like another month.
