Rather than starting a duplicate thread, I've been trying to find if a fault has been logged already, but without the ability to search it's a pretty arduous task.

A search feature limited to just the Beta area would help that massively, rather than trolling through all the bug reports and obscure search results.

You can search only in specific subforums already. Click the "Go" button in the upper right, then click Forum Search Options, then select the subforum you want to only search in from the drop down list.

I think searching in some specific areas should be improved.

Something like a "quick search" button/field - if you use that, then it will only search in that particular area you are started the search from.

Yeah, even filtering using the search options still comes up with a bunch of articles and how-tos that have no relevance on my search.
