My Video Press Kit (would like to hear your opinions)

Since I highly value opinion of people in this forum, I would be glad if y'all can check my Video Press Kit and tell me your impressions/toughts.
Instead of having old fashion press/bio I have decided to make a video version of it.
I wanted to keep it short, brief and informative.
This is first version, kind of preview, actually.
I'm also looking for the right name for it. I call it Video Press Kit for now, but if you have any better idea..
And whatever you might notice, even the grammar stuff, let me know..
Or even let me know what do you like best in it:)
Thanx
Dave

My first question is who is this press kit for? If its for clubs then cool but if you are going outside of that area then I would definitely drop the half naked chick posing on the turntables in the opening. Just not the right image for the corporate or private event folks.
My next comment is that all the images are moving way to fast in the beginning. I have no idea what stars you are with in the images because they switch too fast for me to pick up on it. And I am trying to look. An average watcher would be lost. Also try to tone down on the shredder transition.
Next...the part with the scrolling list of venues is moving too fast and the font color can't be read on the background. If you are going to use white then add an outline and drop shadow so you can see the text better.

Thanx a lot for your feedback Rebelguy
So far I have never had experience with corporate events. But I feel you about that.
Yeah, a friend of mine told me that I should also write down celebs names too. Actually I wanted to keep it short. You know how it is with people, usually they can't concentrate for more than a minute to watch a (youtube) video. Perhaps I should do two versions. Short and long one.
I tried to get outline, or even shadow, but there was no option for that in that perticular text generator :(
Once again I wanted to keep it brief and I don't think that is that important to read every particular club I DJ-ed. Someone who really wants to see it can pause it. Keep it brief, keep it brief :))
A friend of mine, great video editor advised me to split the screen in half and put scrolling on the right half while venue video is rolling on the left. Maybe I do just that..
However thanx again, your feedback is appreciated!

you have to much going on in the kit. most would look for crowd hype. not artist. those are all drop's that any dj gets when artist come to a club.

I'm with Rebel, all the info, and artist pics are way too fast. But your also right, they do have an option to pause and check whatever frames they want. I would still slow down some parts of it though.

I will probably do something like that. I'm thinkin of adding or replacing some live club parts where scroll of the venues is, so I can get more space for slower scroll. Plus I'll try to get somehow outline for the scrolling text or/and drop shadow.
If anybody knows how can I get that outline or at least shadow in that scrolling text engine in Sony Vegas holla

I like the video, agree the pic switches are too fast though. Wish i knew all those cool people :). So is the dj promo for a vj spot mean you just hand them a dvd to be considered? Do they actually take the time out and watch that stuff?

in vegas, click on the tabs for generated media txt
i believe it goes |edit|placment| ect ect ect
the last tab has the outline shadow option.
theres also a plugin somewhere that has premade ones...I forget though.

Well form my experience when you present someone, let's say a 4min video. They usually watch it like a minute, minute and half and then they start to talk or do something else.
That's why I wanted to do it like it is. To properly sign and show each celeb will probably take at least 2min of the video alone. Like this you can see what is it all about and if you're really interested to check who or what that is, you can pause or check flix on my web page. Same thing with club listings scroll (I'll probably slow that part down a bit).
I am also considering to make 2 versions altogether. Short and longer one.
If you ask me what this promo is. It's so I can pass that instead of my bio/press kit. It explains it better than in words written that "I am mixing music videos - live". It's still hard to explain some to people.
It will probably be an extra on my next DVD video mix(tape).

OK, so here it is people V.2 of Dj Dave Jam's Video Press Kit: www.youtube.com view
So first of all let me thank you's, everybody that participated. It really helped me a lot in the process.
So more less I have done following:
- As Rebelguy recommended and dj vmb agreed I have slowed down the club scroll part and managed to get some kind of shadow & outline. This is Sony Vegas media generator that doesn't have an option for outline or shadow so I copied the same text under and added some more thickness to it.
Thanx to Joshua Carl for explaining how to get a border outline on text, but this is not the ordinary text generator in Vegas. Perhaps I could get some extra plugins somewhere..
- Also considering the club scroll part I have added some more club video so I could spread it over and slow the scroll roll
- I have used another font as Dj Nyce & DJDaveOtt recommended.
- a few typo corrections..
So once again thanx: Rebelguy, DJ'Que, dj vmb, DJCheLu, Joshua Carl, djchrischip, Dj Nyce, DJDaveOtt, a-swift & DJ PopRoXXX for your time.
This is it, more-less, for the first version of my Video Press Kit. This is probably the final version now, unless there is something that needs to be corrected.
