so im wondering if the new effects in version 2.0 will also end up in the 57s effects bank with a firmware up date...can anyone confirm there will be a firmware for version2.0 and if there will be any new goodies for us 57 owners?

I highly doubt that. The mixer's internals can't just run the same code as your laptop does (which calculates the effects...).

I agree with you nik32 but it would be nice if the engine was reworked from the ground up to include saved presets and the super knob for the internal effects processor...or even better if we could get a new group that doesn't use the internal effects processors and allow us to control SSL internal effects except using the echo post fader!

+1 ace, having seperate controls for the new effects in a new group is one concern, all getting a bit messy...so instead of the effects them selves inside the mixer could presets be added to the 8 existing effects along with controls for them in b6 group?
