Hi jordyarm.
Firstly can you please make sure you are doing the following:
* Always plug directly into the computer’s USB port, not a hub.
* Check that you are using a ‘good’ USB port. Try all ports until you get the best results.
* Go to your laptop manufacturer's website to check if there any driver updates for your machine.
* Switch off Bluetooth, wireless network and unplug any wired network connections.
* Switch off screen saver and set sleep mode and hard drive sleep to 'never'.
* Ensure you have ample room left on your hard drive (this is approx 10% of your hard - both internal and external).
* Close down any other software, including antivirus software or the like.
Can you then adjust the USB buffer size (latency) in the setup screen, move the slider to the right and press 'apply' until there are no more dropouts.
Also it'd be a good idea to test without any other USB devices connected for the moment, just in case there is a conflict.
Cheers.

thanks for reply,
we are pluging it directly into the usb on the back of the computer,
we have tried all the usb ports, with no differance on either.
we have downloaded any driver updates and still no improvement.
all connections are disabled or turned off.
screen saver has been turned off and both sleep and hard drive sleep has been set to never.
we have over 50% free on our hard drive on the computer.
the only running program is the scratch live program.
all above has been tried and no progress with the problem.
i would just say, that we have tried my personal laptop, and it runs finely, but also have tried another laptop which is used with another serato system and the problem still persits on that laptop.
thanks

Can you please give me the full computer specs (make, model, CPU, RAM, hard drive, and any other USB devices, or other peripherals connected)?
Can you also do so for the other laptop that wasn't working as well.
Cheers.

A netbook may be problematic, because they cut so many corners with their build to reduce the cost. So much of the internal architecture doesn't like streaming audio very much :-(
However, we can test out what is going on by running a RATT report as in this article:
serato.com (click)
Once you have a report, can you please paste the results into this thread and I can have a look over it? Cheers.
