afaik it doesn't. but don't bother with mp3pro anyway. mp3pro is only effective at low bitrates which you shouldn't be using. mp3pro is really only effective for web downloads/streaming.
I thought mp3 pro files were supposed to be backwards compatable (just without the advantages) but like spinthis says, they're only really for low bitrates.
