monitoring through another soundcard, clarification?

im sorry, i know this has been discussed before but im not quite sure if its been addressed with the newer firmware and SSL updates.
ive searched the forums and read the faq/manual but most of the posts seem to be older and relating to previous firmware and SSL versions aka "its in the works".

i already have my monitoring system built around another interface and am doing some cable upgrades for my new hardware.

is it possible yet to access the USB's main mix signal through other hard/software while SSL is running?

i know it was possible while SSL wasnt running but im just not sure if this feature has been implemented in newer updates, i would really like to avoid the unecessary extra da/ad conversion.

i guess another related question would be are we able to record to our software of choice while SSL is running yet?

i would just check this out on my own but it took over a month for my new gear (57 included :( ) to arrive and am now in the middle of moving. Im kinda thinking about selling my 57 and going another route if these features arent possible yet.

thank you in advance.

Me too. There is an exisiting feature suggestion with ASIO routing functions in the feature suggestions area. This basically covers your suggestion (plus a lot more). Give it a bump, show the Serato developers what you want to be added to the software.

Not without an additional D/A/D conversion.
