Just wondering if Serato plan on plan on developing a Scratch Live app for the iPad. I plan on getting one and it would be dope if it does. What do y'all think? Let's hear your feedback!!!!!

That's what I was thinking as well. There's this fantastic little app on the ipod called TouchOSC... imagine that on an ipad. For just a couple of Euros.

iPad would be a JazzMutant killer, iPad is just $499 plus the price of good midi app. JazzMutant is $1,999. The possibilities could be endless. No USB needed WIFI is fine.

ipad is capable of usb its just not on it. theres a little adapter that plugs into the charginging that gives you two usb ports... one for serato and one for external hard drive cause im sure we all have more than 64gb of music

i think also a driver would have to be made since it's an ipod but bigger...OS is different. I don't think it's worth them spending the time to create a driver, butter time put to other serato software ideas.

A quick look to the future of scratch live controller ????

running serato from the iPad... tha tI don't really see happening.

but I think the iPad might be an interesting platform to use as a customizable midi-controller. Using applications like touchOSC you can create a controller-interface the way you need it to be. If I look at the hardware controllers that are out there right now, I never find the perfect controller, they're short of buttons and faders, or they have too much, or not well placed,... You could make the perfect controller.

What also might be interesting is to be able to use the ipad to set cue-point, loops, prepare crates, etc... But since you can't fit the entire library onto the ipad, it would need to be some kind of remote access application, library sharing or something.

Don't know, but I think there might be some intersting possibilities
