i am thinking about using an HP 500 series all in one touch screen 22" hi-def .I dont move my set-up that often and a bigger screen is a plus. I think it gives good placement options cuase you still have a mouse and key board like desk-top lots of usb's for controlers and ext drives.Touch screen tech has advanced alot in a short time . Even if you can only access some of the Serato functions by touch it can still be practical and fun at the same time. The hottest phones are touch screen! I would like to hear of anyones expiriences with this sweeping technology.

I could see it being cool for setting cue-points, and for basic "internal-mode" mixing.
A lot of the graphic elements are probably too small to reliably access that way though (?).

Apple was the touchscreen phone innovator, would be cool if they'd come out with something like this, even if you didn't use the touchscreen the other advantages are reason enough.
Congrats max! Can't wait to hear more..

If you are doing events outside in the touch screens are not he way to go. Even if the screens are stored outside or transported in the cold, when then are brought indoors it takes some time for them to "warm up" and it can give you trouble during a performance. Also other people call them "touch screens" and use them respectfully, and yet some are just stupid and use them very hard.
