I see the CDJ-2000/900 has quantize loop. Why not make this part of the next beta version. Great feature lets you get a perfect loop every time.Watchwww.youtube.com

download the manual here www.serato.com and look for auto looping on page 17. I use a midi controller with pads set for 4, 8 and 16 beat loops.

It does not have Quantize loop. Auto loop "yes". But not perfect loops on the fly. On the new cdj once Quantize loop is on you can create perfect loops vie loop in & loop out. Check it out at your local dj Store. Jah Bless.

does anyone know if the 2.0 version can quantize loop like the cdj 2000?

it has it already, it "snaps" to the nearest beat. Same as quantizing on the 2000

It already does do this, within reason.
However, what I'd like is the control to turn this off too. Sometimes it'll snap to ever so slightly the wrong part of a complex drum loop that I could make more accurate by eye.

The part where it snaps to the nearest beat. The way I experience it Serato uses the BPM to calculate the loop. So if the BPM calculation is off, then the loop is too.
I have the same experience at times, when I mix 2 records which are blending perfectly, then I start an autoloop on one of the 2 to play with it or to mix it out and suddenly both are diverting from each other.

gotcha, so it's only in SSL you're having the issue, Are you sure the bpm's are accurate? Ill test mine again tonight and see if it snaps properly in 1.9.2

Well, my BPM's are approximately correct, but it's not always 100% on target. I don't care either, I just use it as an indication, but when using the auto-loop, it can mess up at times. Even if the BPM is only slightly off, you will hear "there's something wrong with the loop"
