I have a ttm 57 and have had no problems. Last week I purchased the rane sl3 so I can mix video with my pioneer svm-1000. I also use a midi controller the akai mpd 24. Everything works fine when I assign controls but when I use analyzer image and analyzer blocks even when i adjust the knob full throttle the image works but it stays real low even at full throttle. It must be something with the sl3 because I don't have this problem when using the ttm 57.

While you are in midi assign mode - the minute you assign the action to the midi knob - you notice the midi info box turns green.

Inside this green box it says to hit the letter C on your keyboard and then try the midi knob again. Keep doing this untill you get the effect to react as you want with the knob.

These are the names of these effects on the newest version of Video SL 1.1.1

I have tried this with a Korg Pad Kontrol and it works fine with an SL3.

Are you sure you are running the latest version of Video SL?

Yes, I'm using video sl 1.1 and an akai mpd 24. Im not saying the effect does'nt work it just doesnt work the way it's supposed to. when you adjust the control knob the effect still is stays very low even with it cranked all the way analyzer image,analyzer blocks.

I guess let me be more clear.

Is your Video SL verison 1.1 OR 1.1.1 (these are 2 different versions)

The name that I have for these effects in my version are:
Analyzer
Analyzer Line
Block Columns

Are these the names of the effects on your version or are they really called analyzer image and analyzer blocks?

Also - I understand what your issue is - when I crank my midi knob to 100% the effect activates 100% on the screen for me in this 1.1.1 Version when using Analyzer Line and Block Columns and the Korg PadKontrol.

Block columns and analyzer line work fine it's analyzer image and analyzer blocks I'm having problems with. I seen that i was using 1.1 i downloaded 1.1.1 what do I have to do to make sure video sl is using 1.1.1 and not the older version thanks

Just make sure the new one reads version 1.1.1 - install it and you are good.
