When i started using SSL, the little forum text "There are xxx people browsing" used to top out around the 300 mark.
Now ... as i speak, it's at 1649 !!
Thats over 1600 people, on these forums, right now, all at the same time.
For a specialist app, i think that's quite impressive. Well done Serato on creating a great piece of software, that it seems everyone who's anyone in the DJ world, wants to be seen using!
On the flip side, it could be so pants that over 1600 people are posting help tickets .... but lets not go there ;) lol

That's a pretty crazy number for sure, but our traffic logs will back up your presumption that our websites are getting massive amounts more traffic than say, a year / 18 months ago.
Right now there are 1100 ish people online.
It's not all help tickets though :-)
Don't forget we have a major new product (ITCH), Whitelabel.net growing enormously and an ever increasing active community of people who hang out here.

Yeah, I'm amazed that whole shebang keeps running sometimes. Ha ha.
We keep rolling out optimizations and, amazingly, CPU usage on our servers is down in recent months (thanks Matt). Disk I/O is the biggest bottleneck right now as the databases grow ever larger but we have plans afoot to help with that.
Generally speaking I find the forums perform MUCH better than they did a year. Not bad when you consider the growth that's taken place during that time.

The rusty old wife thought it was about time time to stop complaining for one evening... and made a nice dinner for his husband ;)
