I'm having a big issue with this quicktime problem. Its been going on for over a month or at least since the latest update by quicktime. Rolling back my quicktime, now doesn't allow me to open up my itunes account and many of the new videos I get from DJ pools i belong to also won't open or can't be read by the older version of quicktime nor video-sl if i just import them directly to the program. Is there a video update coming to fix this issue soon??? Or is there another program i can use rather than quicktime?

Try:
1. Completely uninstall Quick Time.
2. Download and install the newest version of Video SL.
3. DO NOT allow Quick Time to update or "check for a newer version".
4. Go into Quick Time's options and disable updates
The QT version that comes with video SL should work for you, but you must uninstall any newer version of QT before installing the older one that comes with Video SL.

Hey DJ HenneC,
If you don't wish to downgrade QuickTime there is another workaround you can use:
1) Download and install movieinfobatch (you can get this here -> www.serato.com [click link])
2) Open movieinfobatch and check the "Video-SL Debug Panel Enabled" box.
3) Open Scratch Live and Video-SL. You'll now see the debug panel to the right of the Video-SL display.
4) Click the yuv422 dropdown box and select "off"
You can now use the latest QuickTime with Video-SL again.
There is more info on this problem here -> www.serato.com (click link).
We are working on a fix for this :)

sorry if this is a stupid question, but i don't see the yuv422 drop down box nor is the debug panel showing to the right of the video sl display????
The debug screen popped up which looks like a movie player in itself. do i drop videos that i'm having issues with into this box or????
