I've given up on my first gen 360. The new ones have that new chip in them to highly reduce the chance of an RROD.
I'm considering of getting it, but the PS3 is 299 now. The thing is, I absolutely hate the PS controller and 360 has the best online gaming.
Either who, whatever I get next week, I'm picking up MW2, so get ready to get owned suckas!

No full campaign co-op like WAW, however there is a "Spec Ops" Mode that allows some co-op play I think. I would post the link but Im on my phone right now.

The last two I didn't even play anything but online. It's tough at first with people just destroying you but once you get better online is the best part of these games I think.

I agree. It's just that I rarely play video games. Maybe 20 minutes a week? Sometimes I go weeks or months without playing games. I've only played 40 minutes of Modern Warfare story mode lol. And maybe couple of hours of WAW only because I have friends who comes over and play for hours.

ps3. xbox has been too unreliable. wifi adapter stopped working and $50 for xbox live. had the last 2 COD's for ps3 and they were great.

I just beat WAW on solo Vet, it was hard as hell. I have beat all of the COD series on vet, so I am looking forward to playing this one for sure. COD MW was my fav for sure. COD 3 was wack.

I didnt wanna buy the Hardend editon, i bought the Halo 3 Legendary oen or whatever, and i have stil never put the bonus dvd in my xbox. so i figured it wouldnt be worth it to me. I am stoked to play it. finally got off my GOW2 kick.

Can't say how disappointed I am that once again MW2 does NOT support co-op campain or online multi-player modes. My son and I have to take turns playing with our friends online, just like the MW1, and quite frankly that sucks ass. You can play the "special ops" missions on the same xbox but those are nothing like the campaign or online gameplay. Gears of War has supported 2 player campaign an online multiplayer since day one....can't believe they dropped the ball on this....AGAIN.

One thing I hoped they would change but they didnt that gets on my last nerve, is that you cant join a online game from the very start of the match.I hate when I click into a mode and then before I have a chance to pull back, I get thrown into the middle of a game on the loosing team on a map I dont like.

Yes servers are down for multiplayer (PS3) and they are working on the invite patch/fix ....they just added trophies patch this morning...

I always try to stay by a wall, one less angle for someone to shoot me from.(unless of course bullet penetration perk)
Also in a real open area, I wait for a teamate to run across to spot snipers.These guys are are so trigger happy, they always give themselves away.
I dont camp but I move slowly slower paced kills but results in more killstreak attack and ultimatly most kills and 1st place.

OK so I picked this up for 360 on Friday, finished the campaign yesterday. I was expecting that shit to be longer! Must have put in more hours than I thought lol. Overall the game was pretty dope, but I think I liked World at War better.
I never got into playing online, but I might start with this one. I tried playing the original MW online and I got pissed off after 5 minutes. Fools would sit next to the respawn areas and pop you before you knew wtf happened.

I like the M4A1 with Thermal Scope but it takes too many shots to kill someone from a distance so i am trying to upgrade my FAL now, its a powerful gun and can be a one shot kill with no recoil.

I think a big thing with online is you have to find a gun your good with. I normally get between 20-25 kills a game online and lastnight I unlocked a new gun tried that out and was getting smoked with it for the 5 matches I used it.

I'm up to level 30, still plugging away. I'm def getting better, but I'm still only putting up like 8-10 kills consistently. I don't know how these fools rack up 25-30 kills every single round! SCAR is the best gun in the game - hands down. I use it with FMJ and Red Dot, dont need a scope as it takes too long to pull up in short range combat.
I dont mess with Thermal or Heartbeat, i think its sorta cheating! lol.

Last night, this one clown with a 63 rank did absolutely nothing but run around every board with a f*cking riot shield. He was racking up 25-30 kills/round. Bitch got me 6-7 times in one game. I got him back though...kept hitting him with stun grenades then blasting him with the striker.

You can take bullets without dying, but two shoves from a riot shield and you're dead? They should make it so the person with the shield needs to actually shoot or knife you.

I'm starting to get more than just 2 or 3 kills per game. I have not figured out how to handle the classes yet. I pretty much use the first class that is highlighted, hit x and wait for the game to begin. As I play the game and pick up other peoples guns I'm learning which ones I like. I just have to figure out how to set those as my default guns.

i've been just running around with a riot shield and a pistol lol. I just add the perk for faster movement, no fall damage, longer melee distance (for knife), and unlimited sprint. I just go around slicing dudes and then when they are far my automatic pistol fucks them up bwhaahah.

I unlocked Prestige Mode.... If you donno what that is, once you hit level 70, you unlock this and you have to start over again from level 1 with NONE of your weapons/perks etc.
You only get a new icon haha. but whatever, i am on level 31 now after i started over!
a player tip, if you are getting dominated on, try playing later at night, i swear for some reason i go from getting 7/16 Kill/Death ratio to 24/15 when i play later.

I'm pretty sure you keep your challenges. You just lose the guns and perks.
When you hit 70, I know it gives you the option to choose to go on to prestige or not. Say you defer...can you go back later and go into prestige or is it a one-shot deal?

you actually have to go in an option menu and select prestige mode, it doesnt automatically set it for you so you can be level 70 and not have any issues.

I don't think it's worth it IMO. You basically get new icons (who cares). Plus supposedly you get one extra custom class for every second level of prestige you reach. Useless for me, since I only alternate between 3 of the custom classes anyway. There are rumors about something special when you reach prestige level 10. I'll wait for someone else to do it lol. I'm only on level 41 or something. I have 659 levels to go until I hit prestige x10 hahaha.

Here's a good tip. Use the ninja perk. When you get the pro upgrade players can't hear your footsteps. You can sneak up on someone easily and knife their ass.

I absolutely owned one of those shield clowns last night. I knifed him the first time. He respawned and ran right back to the area I was in (must have been pissed lol). I shot him in the legs that time. I guess he was determined to get me b/c he kept hunting me down. Next time I stuck a semtex to his shield. BOOM. I ran somewhere else after that, then I see him running way off in the distance. I sent up an absolute hail mary with the grenade launcher and scored a direct hit hahahahahaha.

I play with a clan quite a bit at night and we mop up usually. We played another clan and their tactic was dope. All of their kits at first were riot shields and they took all objectives with riot shields. We then stormed their spawn point where they were waiting with RPG's. Everything was planned and calculated, but we ended up getting a nuke on our side even though we were losing pretty bad so we still won.

i went 40/4 on afghan. my streak was 33 kils with out dying. i died and came back and nuked. its possible. hasn't happened since but it happened. however i do hit 30 kills quite often.
i never though about saving killstreaks but i'm gonna try it. when i called in my nuke, i had the attack heli, chopper gunner, and nuke equipped. i play hard cor and NONE of them had cold blooded so my attack heli got like 7 kills then in chopper gunner, i got another 7 or so. i had to pick up 3 different guns cause i ran out of bullets in my sniper rifle LOL.

Yes those kills go towards your killstreak only if you have a killstreak going. If you have your AC 130, Chopper Gunner ect, ect.... and then you die and respawn to use the killstreak reward, those kills wont start your kill streak. Because I've used my rewards and the kills I got from them earned me another reward, and then those kills earned me another reward.... This was all while I was sitting in a corner.
Now on the flipside, I got my AC 130 and then tied. When I respawned, I used that AC 130 and got like 6 kills with it. When I went out and killed some more people, my kill streak was just starting.

Anyone else experiencing the glitching when the game never ends????
Check this out, i got over 430 kills in ONE GAME!!! it was nuts, I also got over 130,000 points and leveled up like 2-3 levels from it.
I donno what caused it, but it just loads a game, then goes to the "Rust" map and does Domination mode, but the score never ends. The game ended with a nuke finally. Its happened like 4 times to me over the weekend.

lol that's nuts!! I think that happened to me also, but the scores didn't get that high. I was in ground war, and the screen in the lobby said I was going into another map. When the game started, we were in the rust map. The game did seem to go for a long time. It got insane when people started getting air support left and right. I think I ended up with 38 kills, which is the highest I've gotten by far. Someone ended up with a nuke. HIghest score was 60-something kills.
The servers seemed to be glitching a lot this weekend. I was in ground war with a friend of mine, and every 6-8 games, it would somehow throw us into these closed private games. People were like who the hell are you?

Yeah man, i donno what the deal was! but i was surprised the private games gave you experience for ranking up?!
It happend to me like 4 times, some games i got over 200 kills, other times it would load the big team battle but on the Rust level...it was a shit-show. instantly spawn and died like 20 times in a row.
they need to fix the server issues, but it was fun to rack up that many points!

I been in a glitch game. Also while playing domination, there were times where we got thrown into Domination on the Rust map in 3rd person view

Yeah but look at the low death counts also. They probably got thrown into the game when it was almost over. That happens to me on the daily. They put me in a game (on the losing team usually) with less than a minute left.

i was playing HC team death match the other day and it FREAKED OUT!
i was on karachi and went to reload my scar...wouldn't work. i then just held down the trigger and it didn't stop shooting!! no one else knew what was going on, we were freaking out. i pulled out my noob tube and it was like a firework. shooting about 4 grenades a second!! it was crazy!! i spun around in a circle holding the trigger and was basically a grenade sentry gun! lmao! it lasted about 6 games then we all got booted. to this day, i still don't know wtf was going on!

I'm now very limited to the amount of time I'm allowed t o play. I messed up and let my kid play. He went to school and wrote some paper that pretty much described part of the game. My wife got pissed and was like "I told you so." So now I can't play this game while he is up.

My PS3 controllers are fine but back in the day of our madden/nhl/nbalive addiction i broke a few of the ps2 controllers.

I'm glad they did that (1887s). The last 2 weeks, fuckin 8 out of 10 noobs in every game were just sprinting around with those blasting people. You didn't even have to aim, and the range was wayyyy to much for a shotgun. It was like the riot shield fools finally went away, but got replaced with people with 1887s.

I'm going to knock on COD MW2. I don't really care for it.
I played COD for the first time ever on saturday for a couple of hours. I have very minimal experience (no virgin) with online shooters and this is my take on it:
People die way too fast on MW2. It pretty much feels like who sees who first and one hit one kill. I'm an online shooter noob and within a few games I was getting around 20 kills (about equal to my deaths) against people of decent skill (some were 70+). I had no idea how the maps were laid out, which is the biggest disadvantage. Granted I was using my buddies account to play (he was level 55) so I had better guns.
My point is it doesn't take much skill to kill someone in MW2. A noob like me can play for the first time and get a decent kill/death ratio.....
Now for comparison: Uncharted 2 online play =)
The online play game engine isn't as polished as MW2. There's a ton of more options (at this point) and playlists in MW2. I'll give you guys that.
UC2 takes more skill and there's a lot more involved with being good at the game. It's harder to kill someone, it's not just one hit one kill, meaning all i have to do is hold down the fire button with my automatic weapon and you're dead.

dude, UC2 is hands down one of the best games I've ever played.
Once you start playing, you'll be hooked. In the beginning of the game, the first few chapters are slow and kind of boring, but then once it picks up, it's hard to put down.
Once you play the solo campaign, come over to the online multiplayer. That's where the real fun starts (no homo).

Im a hardcore COD fan and thats really all I play.Ive tried other shooter games and must admit some have some interesting story lines and even some cooler things going on than COD.The problem that usually keeps me from being able to really get into those other games is usually the game play.I mean the controlls and graphics never seem as smooth as COD..
That was the biggest thing that kept me away from Killzone 2.The graphics were actually good but the character movement was way to slow.Im use to having my sensitivity to insane.

Really? what is "decent" then? I have only a .94 K/D ratio, and thats because i havent been focusing on it, just trying to upgrade weapons. Now that i am trying to improve this, it is so hard to since i have over 15,000 kills, to improve my ratio it will take 1000 extra kills.
Its easy to kill and be killed on the game for sure, but i would say it doesnt take skill. There is a butt-load of strategy, and the different game types are actually pretty fun as well.
As for a noob starting and just being good, i dont see that being consistant at all, maybe the group of people the current games you played just sucked, but even as much as i play, ill go 30/10 then 10/30 the next game.

maybe, i only played all day one day. Could be playing a bunch of Xmas noobs (people who got the game for xmas) although there were people ranked 50+ above .
I just thought it was incredibly easy to kill people, even when people were straffing. But I guess that's how they want the pace of the game to go. Kill lots of people who respawn instantly.

A ranking of 50 is kinda high. You should have started from 1 and see what the game play is like. I've been playing this game since mid November and I have yet to get 20 kills in a game.

really logic? try this... use the killstreak perk, (lowers killstreaks by 1 kill) then set up the following 3 Killstreaks:
Carepackage (3 Kills)
Predator Missle (4 Kills)
Harrier (6 Kills) (or attack copter, but i like the harrier since it does a strike before hand)
If you get the predator missle (4 kills in a row), and use it right away, usually you can kill 2 people and get a harrier. Then you can get more kills with the Harrier and then if your lucky the care package will have something good like a copter.
If you find a good hiding place (no camping) for a couple quick kills, then you can get 3 kills without dying pretty easy.
Lastly, i suggest you play Domination or the other D word game, it works good for getting more kills for me since people focus on capturing targets, you can pick em off.

Straffing is when an opponent makes it hard to hit him by moving sideways left to right, right to left, basically juking out your opponent so he doesn't hit you (as much).
I'm not sure how relevant it is in MW2 because pretty much you die in under a second after a few shots.

Never played Killzone, but slow movement is what Uncharted 2 online play is like. My buddy who brought over MW2 said UC2 is so slow pace and there is less action than MW2 which is true. MW2 is like you are on fast forward, even when you run through buildings and on the streets it looks like it's fast forwarded x10. 1 on 1 gun battles (no homo) lasted like 1 second at the most with everyone having ACR auto weapons.
For me, I like the slower pace shooter like UC2 since you are more involved with the environment (climb pillars, climb walls, jump over obstacles, duck and cover behind boxes). But the biggest reason why I like slow pace is LESS MOTION SICKNESS!!! LOL

Wait you dont always instantly respawn in MW2.Try playing hardcore or sabatoge.
All I know is that they only put out 1 freekin map pack for COD:4 and then Trearch put out 3 map packs for COD:WAW within a year. So these guys better give us some good shit with his game including some extra special ops maps.

I had to take some pics of some of these games yesterday, i couldnt stop playing since i was getting an insane amount of kills, improved my K/D ratio to .98 from .94
It felt like cheating tho, i basically joined a buddies game and he is lower rank, so all the people i played against were a lower rank too. it was liek going fishing with dynomite.... lol

No, I'm saying those killstreak rewards will get you mad kills. I don't think it'd be even fair if you got both, that'd be nuts. You could get both if you got one in a care package or emergency air drop.

Nice, Spec Ops is sooo much easier if you have 2 players, wish i would have known that before i spent 6 hrs trying to beat Alpha and Bravo alone.

Some guy somehow survived a model 1887 point blank to the chest last night and knifed me. That was a damn-near broken xbox controller. Afghan map, he was sniping from that small side bunker next to the poppi fields. I hit him with 2 stun grenades, stormed the door and blasted him. He got knocked back into the wall. Next thing I know I'm f*ckin knifed. I watched the killcam and he definitely took the damage. It's beyond me how he survived. I have ppl killing me from 100 yds with that damn gun.

that was by far the hardest level. the RPG's take them out really fast. Also be sure to utilize all your claymore/c4/etc.
You only have enough time to use that reload crate once, maybe twice if you are lucky.

Killing 10 Juggernauts is actually easy. You just need to know the map and ise it to your advantage.And was able to refill plenty of times.You just cant refill your claimores but you dont have time to set them anyway unless you do at the beggining.

it gives u a boost...
u only need to refill ammo once, and no need to run around the whole map. the level can be beaten from very close to your spawn....there's an ammo box there...

Hit whatever button calls up the care package (not sure what system you're on- right directional button on the xbox). Just don't press the trigger button to actually call in the care package. You'll be running around with the remote in your hand but it seems to make you speedier.

So i figured out the "trick" and it is a joke how easy this was after that. worked on many levels, even the last one. It reminds me of screen scrolling tricks on MegaMan back in the day... so cheap.

It was funny because it was just kids and I kept saying "No, it's a dick blowing a load"

These numbers were actually easy. Actual trigger shots on person were only 7. From there I get my Harrier, the harrier will get me my 4 extra shots i need to get my chopper gunner, then from the chopper gunner I get my 25 for a nuke easily..... after that, I either go for broke on that streak or I just hide out for a bit and end the game.

So yesterday I decided I'd switch up my killstreaks and see if I can get a nuke. Just hit level 70 so I figured that would keep me busy for awhile before I go and prestige. Never had the nuke active before since my style of play isn't really condusive to really high streaks. I run around the maps a lot. Last night I set up harrier, chopper gunner and nuke as my streaks (used to have care package, pred, harrier). First freakin game (team deathmatch on wasteland) I went 35-2 and got the nuke lol.
Question: When you go to "barracks" or the leaderboards, it shows "streak". I always thought that was your best killstreak, but last night it still read 22 after I had the nuke game (I had a 27 streak). Is that stat bugged or what?

Nice! Those are the exact streaks I use (normally and when trying to get a nuke) Im still working in it, got a chopper gunner a couple times but died before i could use it.

I think just about everyone has that killstreak combo.
I literally have to get a 7 killstreak which isn't very hard if you play defensively instead of aggressive. Pick an area on the map that has a really good hiding spot, defend the area, once you get your 7 killstreak go to that hiding spot so nobody kills you while your looking at your little fancy laptop, and launch the harrier.
Sit and wait about 45 seconds and you'll get your 4 extra kills for the chopper gunner, launch that bitch and KILL EVERYONE!!!!!
Usually your harrier will be killing while you're killing in your chopper gunner. Before you know it, that magical sign pops up.... 25 Killstreak: Tactical Nuke
Then just go for broke and try to kill as many people as possible before you die then launch the bitch.
The only draw back to chopper gunner as opposed to AC 130 at 11 is it's easier to shoot down with a stinger, which will usually happen.

You'll get it soon enough Hes. Like Sniffles said, it's really a matter of getting those first 6 or 7, then letting the air support go to work.
I hit the jackpot with my harrier. That bitch usually gets shot down with the quickness, but it was doing serious work last night. It got 12-13 kills, which I've never gotten close to with a harrier. I was on wasteland, so what I did was wait until the other team was inside the bunker and my team was storming in. Once I saw that we took the bunker, I launched the harrier, knowing the other team was going to spawn outside in the open. The initial bombing got me a triple, then I hear bbbbrrrrrrrrattttttt! and six kills pop up, as well as the note saying "challenge complete: kill entire enemy team in under 10 seconds. LOL
I only had to get a couple of more with the chopper gunner. Usually you have to do the majority of the work with that but I lucked out with the harrier.

Unfortunately if you get a attack chopper, it will not count towards your kill streak if you die, then try to use it. (like it wont start you a new kill streak.) it would be dope to stack em

Is there some kind of way of getting 3 attachments in multiplayer that I don't know about? I knifed this camper the other day and picked up his gun afterwards. It was an M16 and had ACOG, heartbeat sensor, AND noob toob. Am I missing something?

So i have Prestieged 3 times so far and am on level 60 currently. I am trying to mix up the weapons more but am noticing something, the stats given DONT seem very accurate.
I have been using the Famas, and i noticed it has the same kill power as the M16, even tho it says the M16 is stronger??
Any other gun suggestions im open to em. So far ive maxed out the Scar, Famas, and Aug Bar. Famas is now my favorite.

I was loving the ACR until I realized it didn't do enough damage for me, maybe I should aim a bit better so I'm hitting the chest or head area but I switched to the m16 to get me to 70. Loving the damage on that one.
AK is the ish though, damage on that one is insane. The relatively lower accuracy doesn't bother me in the slightest :-)

Yeah that was the only time I've seen three attachments. The guy got me a couple of times after and I saw the same setup in the killcam. Unfortunately I didn't think to message him to see if he'd give up the secret. Can't find any info on the interwebz about a glitch or anything.

You ran out of ammo? I can't imagine playing this game without scavenger pro! I love it in FFA because I won't need to rely on external weapons when I run out and you also refresh your claymore ammo with it.

I went 18-0 last night in ground war. First time I had a blank in the death column (no camping in a corner either lol). I thought I had a nuke for sure, but the harrier was shot down immediately, and I only got 6 with the chopper gunner (terrible!!) b/c they all ran into buildings.

Those are ill, i have the cheaper pair it was like $100 bucks and they work wonders, i no longer have to hear "turn that shit down" when my wife is trying to sleep.
My only complaint is the chat section shouldnt have to have a seperate cord, it should all be wireless IMO.

I finaly got a NUKE while playing free for all last night but failed at using it.
I got my 9 kills for the Pav Low.hit 11 and earned Chopper Gunner but had to wait for Pav Low to finish up to use it. I now had 17 kills and killed 2 guys that tried to creep up on me so I now had 19. I relocated and called in my Chopper Gunner and hit 25 kills and here that sweet NUKE buzzer sound. So I just keep blasting dudes thinking when Im done, I'll nuke all these fuckers.
Well what happens? I got a 30 killstreak while still in the Chopper Gunner and reached the score limit ending the match. WTF!!! FUCK!!
Sadly, Ill probably never reach that far again :-(

that SUCKS!!! I thought about that when I got my first (and only so far) nuke. I hit 25 after only getting 5 or 6 with the chopper b/c my harrier had done most of the work already. I kept on going though and got a bunch more kills. Luckily I didn't have the same fate as you, but afterwards I was like damn I could have ended the game before I got to use it! Now I take note of the time and score before I launch the chopper.
Does anyone use the "danger close" perk? I overlooked that one b/c I've always had hardline on, but I switched over last night and it's pretty badass. It makes any explosives (noob tubes, grenades, launchers etc) have a much bigger blast radius. The pro version makes your air support more deadly.

Thats the pre-patch glitch. the new one is go up to a wall, climb up the wall (button "a" on xbox) on top of the wall press the "right" D-Pad and then toss the drop smoke

So Im sure some of you read what happened with my nuke last time.Well I came home today on a mission for that damn nuke.
1st of all, I had a 30 kill streak last time but the leader boards said my streak was 28. WTF!
So I played and again got my Pav Low and Chopper Gunner but even though I hit 30 kills again,my Nuke didnt come up at all.WTF.And yes it was set.Always leave it set.I was sniping foos left and right in Waistland!
Finaly got the damn thing after a few more dissapointing games in the raining map with the blown up bridge

Which care packages count toward your killstreak? I'm confused, does it work on all of them? Sometimes i get like 10 kills with an airstrike and it doesn't say I earned anything. Can someone explain to me how it works? Is it in only certain games that it counts?

Same thing here. My stat card thing in the barracks and leaderboard say my best streak was 24, but I've gotten a nuke with a 27 or 28-straight streak. The nuke shows in my "challenges" area, so obviously something is up with the streak stat.

i also talked to someone online that knew how to glitch his gamertag. it appeared differently from normal. this cat did not work for IW tho.

The latest patch fixes 2 ways of doing the care package glitch but Ive been doing it a new way already.Same as the "jump on wall" but with a couple different steps involving you flash.Just youtube that shit.

Anyone know anything about them resetting people's ranks if they catch them glitching/cheating? These 2 clowns in the same clan were doing the airdrop glitch in every single game last night. Both of them were multi-prestiged (5th or 6th). They had one game with ludicrous numbers where one of them was 69-1, the other was in the 30's with single-digit death also. The next highest player on either team had 8 kills lol. The next game after, about 2 minutes in, you start to see the care packages flying left and right. I hear ya, it does suck tho when you are 4 or 5 prestige's deep and you see people that are at 9, and know they pretty much cheated to get there. Cheated to get extra experience, nukes, care packages, etc etc.

I'm considering trading it in for something else. MAG looks interesting, but Gamestop is only offering $25 for Modern Warfare so I might just keep it. They should make this work with a light gun. I just just bought Time Crisis 4 for my son and the light gun is pretty dope. It's a lot more accurate than the old light guns.

I had played beta version and I didnt like it at all.Maybe if it had the Modern Warfare Engine n graphics it would be dope but that lack of "smoothness" always turns me off from a game.
Big maps arent a problem as long as there are plenty of vehicles like warhawk or the BattleFields series.Wish they did something like this with Call of Duty like they did in the original United offensive (expansion pack)

I prestiged after 2-3 weeks at 70. I actually like it. I'm leveling up so much faster than last time b/c I'm actually trying to complete challenges and max out guns.
Josh V: Do you only have one nuke so far? Note, in the challenges, it lists 2 nukes. When you get two, it levels up and wants you to get 5 lol. Took me weeks to get a second one. I thought I had the challenge complete then it upgraded to "call in 5 nukes".

Prestige does suck in a way, now that i am focused on my challenges. like 25 multikills with Claymores. I know i was close to this before, but i didnt try to complete this, after Prestiging i have to start over. and even worse, you cant even get kills towards the challenges until they are unlocked.
Im level 65 Prestige 4 times (i still suck tho- no bruno) and i want to stay here now until some of the challenges are completed...

To get most of the titles tho, you need to actually use all the different types of equipment and perks etc.

I actually seen these done before on some Search and Destroy Games. Not by me of course but on another guys game winning KILLCAM. Both times on my team so it was dope. Everyone was like "OOOOOHHH"!!!!!!!!. They were some pretty intense matches too, went all 7 rounds.

I got a bunch of those completed before I prestiged. Having trouble getting them again though. Most of them just come by luck/accident lol.
Omnicide I was able to get with a harrier. My buddy actually got that one with bullet kills only, which is pretty damn impressive.
I think the best bet for completing the "heads up" one (besides cheating) is with the emergency air drop. Throw the smoke, hope an enemy camps nearby waiting for the crate to drop, he runs to steal the first crate that falls then gets clocked by one of the other crates that fall afterwards.

I have got a ton of Titles now, still some of them i havent been able to get tho.
Next time around i will get all the titles and emblems after i prestige one time (so i can get the prestige titles and emblems too) then not again till i have everything i want.

I'm up to 8 nukes now. I actually got 2 within 3 games last night! Usually it takes me weeks to get one but I was in beast mode last night. Can't tell you how many times I've had 22, 23, 24 straight and didn't get it.
I'm on prestige 4, level 57. Originally I wasn't going to prestige but it keeps it interesting. Still play this game way too much lol. I wish they didn't have that damn clock that shows you how many days/hours/minutes you've played! I lost a lot of sleeping time in the last few months!

You need 10 within one prestige for the emblem though, no? I've gotten the standard emblem but not the spinning one. I know the challenge is two, then 5, then I'm assuming 10 after that? (I haven't gotten more than 2 nukes in one prestige) I forget my stats on kills etc but I'm at like 21 days or something sick like that lol. I don't play until latenight when the fiance goes to bed so at least its only lost sleep time lol. When I start missing work b/c of it then it's time for rehab hahaha.

The holographic is supposed to be a little more accurate from what I've heard. The funny thing is, I only like the holo on the m16. I use red dot if I'm using the famas. Can't get used to the red dot on the m16 or the holo on the famas for some reason. I guess its all personal preference/feel more than anything.
Have you used the raffica at all? That thing is EVIL. I just started using it recently. Pissed I didn't discover it sooner. It's like a mini-m16. Awesome at close-quarters, and you can shoot someone long-range with it as well. Its super accurate long-range even with akimbo on.

that is too funny man. i will have to try the holographic out, i maxed my famas out so i am using the m16 now, tried to switch back to the SCAR and ACR but i just cant do it.
I used the raffica when i was getting my last stand Perk completed, put a red dot on it and snipers would shoot me into last stand, then i could kill them with the raffica even tho they were across the map, that gun is beasty for sure.
I use the rangers tho, if im holding down an area in close quarters, i have to used em they have a crazy spread

I like pretty much any game mode, Search and Destroy is how i got all the kill cam titles (throwing knife kill, semtex stick etc) its slow paced but fun.
Sabotage is how i got my nukes tho.

20 nukes hes?? damn! I'm still on 8. Haven't gotten one since my last post about getting 2 in the span of 3 games. I had a 23 streak 2 games in a row the other night. Much cursing ensued in those games lol.
I want that nuke emblem, but theres no way I'm getting 10 in the span of one prestige. I only have 8 total over the stretch of 5 prestiges.

see i stopped Prestige-ing at 5, i have been level 70 for a long time so i could work on titles and emblems, and i really wanted that nuke emblem too! i got 5 nukes in 1 night of playing, was pretty lucky.
the trick is you just have to play the right maps (that you do well on) and then pray the other team a- doesnt noob tube often, and b- doesn't shoot down the harrier or chopper quickly!
I HATE getting 22-23 kills then dying, its the freakin worst!
I got the chopper gunner emblem too, (not the animated one, the star one that looks like a prestige icon) had to get 1000 kills with the chopper.

I got a nuke on Trailer Park in Domination, but when i went to use it, it didnt count down from 10 seconds, it took 20 MINUTES! So the nuke warning on the screen went off for 20 minutes, meanwhile the domination game was frozen. So it was a 20 minute kill-fest before my nuke actually went off.
i ended up 132 kills and 25 deaths from that game!
Has anyone else seen this glitch??? I wonder if it was because the enemy used EMP before hand or something, i donno but everyone thought i hacked the game but i didnt.

Yes! That happened to me like 2 months ago. I got thrown into a domination game on the derailed map. Everything was in hyper-fast mode! You could run the entire length of the map in like 4 seconds. If you ran up a hill you could jump over buildings lol. The scores were frozen so it was like a never-ending game. Someone called in a nuke, and the timer starts counting down from 40 minutes!!! Best part...I found a care package lying in the back corner of the map with a nuke!!! I couldn't use it though b/c someone had already called one in. It said nuke already inbound lol. I couldn't play for more than like 10 minutes in that game..the hyperspeed mode was making me dizzy.

dude i remember that glitch, it was nuts! you would run so damn fast, i just ran around with shotguns, lol. that game was really hacked, i have seen nukes in care packages online, pretty nutty!

I feel like the first 2 or 3 nukes I got, you could get them during the chopper gunner EASY. Lately though it's been tougher, since they tend to get shot down really quick. Last bunch of nukes I got, I still needed 6-8 kills after the chopper.
My best nuke game was on overgrown-ground war domination. I was sniping over by the bridge at A. I got 11 snipes to get the chopper gunner (harrier got zero freakin kills). Then my gunner was shot down almost immediately. I think I got 2 kills with it tops. I did the rest of the work with the barret and raffica. 2 killstreak kills, maybe 4 or 5 claymores, and the rest were bullet kills.

Yeah honestly it depends on the Lobby you join, if people shoot them down quick, then i cant get them as easily and i try to switch lobbys. I have noticed tho that when i host, it is way easier. I had 2 nukes in 3 games the other day, 4 in the night cuz i could tell i hosted.
I have got about 10 of them while in the chopper still, thats always the best. shoot some times my harrier gets me up to 16 or 17 kills so its easy. (one tip tho, dont use the chopper until the harrier is down, if you do, then its likely they will get pissed and just shoot both down at the same time).
I also have a hard time with nukes if people noob tube alot.
Trailer Park is one of my favorite levels now because of that side of the map i was on, you can spawn kill (as you saw) pretty easily. Its always fun getting nukes on different maps tho, so far i have got them on Terminal, Carnival, Trailer Park, Strike, Crash, High Rise, Derail, Rundown, Wasteland, and Scrapyard.

If I can, I'll actually find a hiding spot and chill while I send the harrier up and hope it gets me to the 11 mark, this way I don't get noob tubed or some BS before I can send in the chopper.
I love ground war b/c the harrier can get a shitload for you. Last nuke I got was wasteland. I had the harrier real early, so I waited for a UAV. I dropped bombs right on their spawn and got 7 kills just on the directional strike lolol. I think I was up to 17 or 18 before sending in the gunner.

I think ground war is your best bet because of the larger teams. If you cover a choke point, you can catch a whole group at a time and pick them off. Also, you can do much more damage with killstreaks. I've gotten nukes in regular team deathmatch and regular domination lobbies, but I find it to be much easier in ground war.

I would say ground war also, that is all i play now, Like Jwhisper said, if you can get to a harrier, go hide until it gets you to your chopper, then in ground war you can sometimes just get the nuke before the chopper is shot down! If you think about it, its really just a 7 kill streak you need, and you get that by being a little campy, or spawn killing usually.

lol. I love catching boosters in games. I'll follow the one on my team around for the rest of the game and kill his boost buddy on the other team everytime he comes by hahaha
Had my best snipe shot the other night. One bullet triple kill about 3 seconds into the game. Game had just started in highrise. I took a few steps right off the spawn and shot diagonally across the map into the other building for a triple!

They should!!! I've gotten the collateral damage double countless times. I even got the double-headshot with one bullet challenge with an M-16. That was the first bullet-triple I've ever gotten though. They should send me a real plaque to hang in my livingroom lololol. The wifey would love that.

Has anyone tried to use the One Man Army trick to get a Nuke?
You basically create like 3 or 4 classes all identical with One Man Army accept one has Hardline, one has Stopping Power, one has Danger Close.
Then you just switch to Hardline when close to a harrier, then before you use your Chopper, switch to Danger Close for extra damage with the chopper...
I think i am gonna set this up to try this tonight....Never thought about this before, but if you do it like this, then you never need scavenger because you switch to another class with full ammo.

My buddy and I will boost from time to time.. it's honestly addicting and very fun lol. Not because of the perks you unlock, but because of the funny kill cams you can come up with, or the boost hunters trying to find you, etc... We never use the nuke or end the match super early... we'll usually boost until one of us hits 29 kills and then end it with 10 seconds left haha.
Another fun thing to do is hide in an obvious boost spot until you've attracted a boost hunter, and then hide near that spot and watch him constantly come try to find you and take him out

what about the elevator? I can't think of the map but whereit rains and that overpass bridge that runs through it. I've done it before but it takes too long to do. I usually get on the roof across from "C" and snipe like a mofo!!!
I've done the triple kill on highrise like crazy. Once with a Barrett, the rest with either an AUG or M-16. I use those the most. I'm starting to use the FAL and the SCAR a lot though. I stopped playing ground war and was doing hardcore only but got back into ground war. It kinda sucks doing that because you have to tap a few more shots to get a kill in non-hardcore games which gets me killed a lot thinking my two shots got the job done and turning away.

I personaly play to get the top score and to help my team win in any of the bomb games, Demolition being my favorite. I hate when fuckers dont put in work and just pass by the bomb or flag.Sorry, it just pisses me off.

You are gonna hate this video then hahaha, i wasnt camping the whole time, just what you see in the video. but honestly, why would i move?? the other team is dumb enuf to keep running down the center of the map, and no one flanked me. plus this one I had 13 deaths, and there were 2 other players on my team with ac130s, so i had to use the nuke before someone else got one and used it first.
Got my 25th and 26th nuke yesterday. I usually play to get the win, but i have been going nuke crazy the last month.

The Most I have gotten in a day is 5 nukes! lol! not all of them are as lucky as the one above haha, that one was just too easy. Trying to get nukes changes the game up a lot for me, my K/D ratio has gone up a ton, and camping is part of it, but its also just playing smarter, not rushing in guns blazing.
I got one nuke yesterday, but 3 times I got 23 kills and then they finally killed me, fuckers!
Thats a good set up too, i used to do Air Drop, Preditor, Harrier. I now maxed out my harrier and Chopper Gunner (1000 kills each) so i want to work on the attack chopper, and the AC130, which i super suck at using.

I can't play to try to get nukes, or I do worse and get overly pissed off. I just play and if I get it, I get it. I'm always getting moped out with 6 kills. Either that or 23/24 kills lol. Funny thing is, I just prestiged again so I don't have my good gun setups/killstreak setups yet, and I've been kicking ass. Last night I had 10+ killstreaks multiple times with bullet-kills only. If I have my nuke setup on, I'm lucky to get my 7.
The attack chopper is terrible IMO. I tried using it a few times and it sucks. AC130 definitely takes getting used to. I've been changing to that on certain maps where the gunner isn't as effective.
If I'm on a hotstreak, I'll switch to pavelow/chopper/nuke. It's hard to get the 9 streak, but if you do its game over!! The pavelow is a beast.

I know the feeling, im always 6 kills then die or 23 then die.

Man I feel ya! everything has to be just right to make it happen! See my problem is i literally play for 8 hrs...that is why i am able to get em. lol.
Here is 4 more vids of nukes i got last week, got 5 in a day again..im up to 51 nukes lol. I took ur guys advise tho and switched it up to Pavlow / Chopper Gunner / Nuke....and as you can see on the salvage one...RAPE-AGE! Got me to 20 kills with just the Pavelow.
Im also mixin it up, using the AC130 in some maps, and even swapped out my m16 with a thermal Barret and some noob tubes and rpgs. (i figure i hate those the most since they always stop my nuke streaks, so i am using them in revenge.)

Here is 4 more vids of nukes i got last week, got 5 in a day again..im up to 51 nukes lol. I took ur guys advise tho and switched it up to Pavlow / Chopper Gunner / Nuke....and as you can see on the salvage one...RAPE-AGE! Got me to 20 kills with just the Pavelow.
Im also mixin it up, using the AC130 in some maps, and even swapped out my m16 with a thermal Barret and some noob tubes and rpgs. (i figure i hate those the most since they always stop my nuke streaks, so i am using them in revenge.)

Damn hes, what the hell! Its been getting so boring for me to try and get a nuke. Im trying to start my killstreaks with a Pavlow but I always get killed one kill away.
So basically I find my self playing and getting no killstreaks at all. Oh well, back to Preditor, Harrior, Emergency Airdrop :-(

I was feeling that way last night, i changed my killstreaks back to Harrier / Chopper /nuke. Nothing but a noob tube fest yesterday, i hate that, so i joined in, but it was pointless staying in the lobby i was in because of so many tubers. i did get one nuke on TDM tho on Carnival with tubes lol. Used the One Man Army trick and got the nuke at 24 kills! ill post it later

Finally ended my nuke drought last night. Got number 9 on sub base (ground war domination). Really good lobby too with a lot of good players. No tubers/campers surprisingly.
Funny thing is I went into the game with an ump 45, which I never use on that map. I needed like 15 more kills with it to get 10,000 XP, so I said f-it, i'll run around with it and get the challenge done. Ended up with a quick 7, harrier got me to 13. Chopper gunner stayed up the entire time but I didn't think I was wrecking with it. I was getting sporadic kills here and there (too many buildings). I ended up getting to 24 but I hadn't kept track so I had no idea. I seriously thought I had 6 or 7 more kills to get. My ump had about 6 bullets left in it too. I was running around completely reckless and ended up getting a longshot with the last few bullets to get number 25. I almost shit b/c I hadn't realized I only needed one more and was running around like a fool lol.

Nice man! I am thinking of using the UMP 45 silenced, i have seen tons of dudes get a nuke with this setup. I have still not got a nuke on that level, thats a tough one! I havent had a nuke in 3 or 4 days..i get tons of choppers, they just keep getting shot down! Switched to Pavelow/Chopper, still gets shot down. shitty.

Cool I'll check them out. It's cool watching your vids b/c we have such a similar playing style. I was laughing at some of them b/c of how similarly we play each map...guns, areas to cover, hiding spots for chopper gunners, etc.
That was my second sub-base nuke. It's hard to get it b/c there's so much cover/buildings that people can hide from air support in. At the same time though it's less likely they shoot the air support down. I was laughing last night b/c 5-6 enemies took cover in that upstairs area of the one building. My chopper swooped down right at the window and I annihilated them lol.
The ump 45 silenced is awesome, but it takes getting used to. It sweeps side to side really fast compared to other guns so if you're trying to do a sweeping shot then you can over-shoot your target. Hard to explain kind of but you'll see. I use the ump silenced on smaller maps like scrapyard, vacant etc. Silencer is essential b/c without it, the gun sprays all over the place.

Yeah Sub base is a tough one man! I love getting multikills in the chopper lol.
I do ok with the UMP, but I am usually much better with the M16, however, i can never play with it silenced, one burst usually wont kill people so i end up missing more kills than it is worth. I need to try the UMP tho, im gonna set up a class tonight.

hahaha I haven't tried that OMA trick yet. I see a lot of other people doing it lately. I actually have never used OMA at all. I'll have to try it out. I do have one class that I call my "c*nt class" though...noob toobs, rocket launcher, semtex and danger close lol. I bust that out when I'm in a game full of noob tubers and I want to return the favor.
m-16 is by far my favorite gun. I have my sniper class, LMG class (RPD or AUG), UMP for small maps, and an anti-air class. I use the m-16 holographic on the majority of maps though. Shit is lethal!

I only used OMA to get all of the Perk Emblems, but i didnt know how to really use it. It is pretty crazy, i think i use it in one of those nuke vids. its pretty smart actually, it replaces scavenger. And you can set up a class with Claymores, and then change to it, and change back to a class with semtex, so really you get to use both.
I have that same C*nt class ahahah, I have got a couple nukes with it actually, Danger Close in a Chopper Gunner while HOST is just pure rape-age lol.
I actually like the iron sights of the famas better than the m16, i need to use holographic with the m16 for sure. its like a mini sniper for sure.

I actually got that when I first started playing this game. It was in the B hallway on skidrow. I just threw the semtex into traffic and got that one. Haven't gotten it again since.
Have you been able to get those challenges where you need to fire entire magazines into the enemies? (dictator etc). Those are hard as hell.
How about dropping a crate on an enemy? I did that once (think i posted about it in here somewhere). I can't imagine getting it in the game winning killcam though.

I havent got any of those ones..sucks, i havent tried much but i am ocd about reloading. Those are ridiculously hard to get. I did get the dropping crate on an enemy, but not at the kill cam.
I got the one where you are flashed and kill an enemy with a throwing knife tho, and a kill cam with a throwing knife, stick a semtex, and riot shield.

well for titles at least, i dont have the emblems for 50 kills for grenade, or c4, or claymores, just the 25 kills on these for the titles.

What game mode you guys playing. I play sabatoge and end up getting caught up in trying to plant the damn bomb because I hate to loose. But if I got a nuke, I guess I wouldnt have to worry bout that :-o
BTW I've gotten my only 3 nukes on Sabatage. because if the bomb doesnt get planted, then theres more time in the game.

Ive gotten some on Sabotage, if you know where the respawn, then a chopper does work since they all spawn together and its timed.
I have gotten them on Demolition, Capture the Flag, Demolition also, but the only i always play is Ground war.
I have been questioning that alot lately though because its more kills you can get, but its more chances someone will shoot down air support, which has been happening all week to me.

We should get an SSL clan going and wreck some fools!
I've been playing ground war exclusively lately. Domination is def my favorite mode. I like the larger teams in ground war though and the team DM mixed in changes things up a bit.

I get a ton of "join game" requests too from ppl I don't know which is wierd. I accepted one once to see wtf was up and it was 3 ppl playing free for all on rust lolol. I played one game, owned everyone and bounced haha.

I finally got a Double Nuke! (2 nukes in one game) check out the video,
was pretty crazy, i called in the 1st nuke with the score at 199! Then literally got the 2nd nuke in the last second of the game! Timing was pretty perfect on this one! Listen to the in game commentary lol, i was not expecting it at all..

I have the horrible habit of using real combative procedure in this game and that is what gets me killed. Sometimes it works the way its suppose to but more often than not, it doesn't work at all.

Yeah, its really more like a newer version of those old side scroller games on nintendo. you know, you learn the game, and on Double Dragon, i could move forward and then backwards, and enemies would just disappear randomly. Same concept, once you learn the spawns and crap then its all about predicting where they will be coming from.
Search and Destroy is more of real combat IMO.

I can't see FB from work, but did you get sub base yet? I got my third on that map the other day! I have 3 on that map, meanwhile I can't get them on maps that should be cake. Within 3-4 games of that nuke, I had a 23 streak on underpass and 24 on trailerpark grrrrrrrrrr. Trailerpark I got hit with a damn harrier strike too.

I have been getting a nuke a day pretty much, been lucky, got 2 more yesterday on Afgan and Trailer Park. Finally got a video of Storm and Skid Row (Skid Row is the hardest from what I have seen).
damn man, so close for you, What sucks worse, is when you get hit with your OWN harrier strike...happened to me so many times Lol.
The only maps i havent got a nuke on are Sub Base, Quarry, Rust and Fuel. Im up to 74 now.
Lemme know whenever you want to play, i helped my buddy get his first nuke 2 days ago. I basically set up UAV, anitUAV, and Pred missle for my kiss streaks to help the team. I also shoot down air support and helped bait dudes to kill when my buddy was close to his nuke.

Nice! its never to late to pick this game up, hell i see tons of pp still playing COD4!

lol @ gettin hit by your own harrier. I have done that so many freakin times. I'll see like 6-7 red dots light up on the map b/c of enemy gunfire, and I'll go and send the harrier in with the quickness trying to get multis, and I fail to notice i'm about to drop bombs on my own head lol.
I don't have one set strategy on sub base b/c I find that's one of the maps where the bulk of the action varies so much game to game. All three have been on domination. I got two of them working that middle L-shaped garage thing that links the A flag area to the B flag area. Camping there will get you tubed quick so thats no good. I patrol the whole area, popping outside if I hear A or B being taken.
The other one I got patrolling the building that C is in. Plant claymores at that side door and work the flag area downstairs and windows upstairs. I actually had a 24 streak another time with this same strategy so I almost had 4 on this one now that I think of it.

i had 2 matches on sub base, got choppers on both, but they get shot down with only like 2-3 kills. pisses me off. To make up for it though i had a flawless TDM game on afgan with sniping, 38-1! it was the only damn game i didnt record...so mad.

82!!! I just got my 13th lol. I'm up to 5 within this prestige level, so 5 more til I get that icon. I'm at prestige 5 or 6, level 70. I'm just going to stay there and see if I can fill in the titles/emblems I'm still missing.
I had a stupid k/d ratio on that last one I just got. I got my harrier, sent it up and got a triple with the initial strike, then the freakin game glitched out! Screen went black then came back up with the countdown. Game restarted, and my harrier went nuts, getting like 7-8 kills. Only bad part was I seemed to have lost my streak in the glitch b/c it never gave me a chopper!! I ended up getting another harrier later and eventually a nuke. My ratio was like 67-2 lol
