I just got the rane pelican case for the 57, and noticed that it applies a LOT of pressure on the faceplate & knobs of the mixer. Does anyone from Rane know if this could this have some negative impact in the long??

My two cents = No.

Mine's been in it for yeeeears, has huge impression in the foam where the knobs are and still runs well.

I noticed this as well, but have had no issues.
Once, it fell off a sub during transport but due to the tight fitting case, the mixer was fine...
