Drink & Walk it Out Transition Mix - DJ ICON

Here's a Video Mash Up I did of T-Pain's "Buy You a Drink", and DJ UNK's "Walk It Out". Check it out and let me know what you think!!!!! I used the Funkymix version of "Buy You a Drink", and the XMix version of "Walk it Out".You WILL notice a little flashing during the transition. At that particular point in the T-Pain video, I came to a crossroads..... it was either have minimal flashing, or some lip flapping going on. So I chose the flashing. Please let me know what you think.

I liked the idea, but in my experiences playing these two (older) songs for 8 minutes would be rather long - it might have worked last year when these songs were really hot, but you'd probably be better off cutting a verse or two out of buy you a drink might be better otherwise the video might not be as usable in a club scenario due to the length.

I agree. Being that the tracks are fairly old (although hits I wouldn't call them classics) they would get one verse each...tops...if I was going to play.

i like the production as well, but I can't see playing both of these at length, if it was a smooth lil one verse/mashup/one verse kinda thing, it'd be totally useable...i think walk it out still works on the dancefloor...lots of energy but it really depends on your crowd

You guys are completely right about it not really being usable. I was looking for feedback on the production which you guys gave as well! Thanks! I'm trying to get more familiar with mixing and putting together videos, which is why I did this one. So if you guys like the video, I'm ecstatic. Thanks again for the feedback!

yeah it was cool. I could also see someone tossing this on to run to the bathroom....good production

I think that since this has gotten some good feedback. I'll make a "Snipz" as Smash Vidz likes to call it, lol. That way you could either go to the bathroom, OR, get a quick hitter going on. I know from time to time, at the end of the night, I'll get some peeps wanting some slower stuff and Buy You a Drink ALWAYS works. I'll get one going and I'll post asap.
