itunes uses playlists

Scratch Live uses crates.

So your external HD died but you were able to retrieve the _ScratchLIVE_ and the _ScratchLIVE Backup_ folder?

If so, that is what we want on the new external.

The crates that show up in Scratch Live are stored in the "subcrates" folders.

My scratch live YEs,I'm using my crates I dnt use itunes...yes I save my all my music n folders I had in my ext,HD..I have the scratch live folder on my ex.HD from the one that ddied ..how can I use the same crates on my serato with out staring all over again .there's a way to doit by going to my scratch live folder/crates.subcrates ,from the new extHD that I save all my folders n music from the last extHD that crash ....thanks

on the new external, place the _ScratchLIVE_ folder on the root of your HD.

Inside of that ScratchLIVE folder you should have a subcrates folder. That should have the crates that you want to show in the program.

It needs to be on the root of your HD.

Meaning, when you open the external, it should be staring you in the face. You need the entire _ScratchLIVE_ folder

open Scratch Live.

If you have contents in your ScratchLIVE folder, such as a subcrates folder and that subcrates folder has .crate files in it, you should see them load once you open the program.

yes i hav both ScratchLIVE folder/subcrates folders and crates file.i dont see it loading in the program ,i close it n open the program .im ma doing something wrong hear,

ok check this out i update to 1.9.2 n now is not giving me my crates or my sub!!should i go back to 1.9.1
