How have you guys got your buttons set? have you found a certain set up works better than the way the 57 is initially shipped?
It would be cool to hear what everyone has to say on this.

my buttons are as shipped. i did change the kills to latch mode though.

As I often use the EFX with bpm sync, I removed the temp cue on Group1 one for J1/J2, they now auto bpm sync the efx.

i kinda tweaked out group 1. it would take forever to describe but it's more for my style of relative mode, hot cues, and looping.

still using the default custom group.
Works great for me.
I did the same with the latching and I toggled the setting to keep it from loading a song unless you have stopped the track.

Definitely set the kills to latch mode first thing, then I switched which boxes where checked for the transform switch. I have messed a little with the J1/J2 options for custom group 1 and 2, and also switched up the buttons for custom group 2. All to help with me using REL mode. I will make adjustments further as needed when I become more comfortable with the effects.

i've changed the J1 & J2 up function to track BPM left & right in group 1..

everything else is standard apart from the latched kills...

only got a one button footpedal (had it lying around but I'm gonna get a 3 button one) but I'd like to set the foot switches to Effect Assign PGM1,Effect Assign PGM 2 & Effect 1 on, but it doesn't look like you can select these as they are not on the list?

this would mean that I could pretty much stay in group 1 all the time except if I wanted to loop which I don't do too much..

I second this motion.

I'm using the stock group 1 except I swapped set cue and censor. I use censor much more than set cue and it's easier to push the sticks down in time with the music. It makes it slightly harder to set cue points but I prefer it that way.
